Nothing fancy but good for us as we don’t spend a lot of time at the VRBO

The apartment is great for a weekend getaway. Wonderful bakery at your step and dinner at the restaurant located downtown stairs was delicious with great service. Very popular place.
We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, updated and very comfortable. The location is fantastic. Close to downtown and Montford. The bakery below is awesome!
Thank you for letting us host your stay. We appreciate your feed back and look forward hosting you again

This property was perfectly located for our Asheville visit. Convenient to downtown, Biltmore, and the Arts District. Proximity to the interstate was also convenient for day trips into the countryside. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and enjoyed food from City Bakery and Bone and Broth, both located in the building.

Reviewer Comments:
Located above a bakery and farm to table restaurant, the apartment was a quick 10 minute walk into downtown Asheville. The location was quiet, and the also had some great nearby restaurants outside of the downtown area.
Great location. Easy parking. Easy check-in and check out.The space is much smaller than it appears in the photos. Furniture blocks the doors from opening all the way. You cannot walk around the bed. Internet was spotty, so TVs did not work. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work throughout the trip but luckily it was cool enough to just open the windows and listen to the backhoes rev their engines and beep beginning at 6:30 AM everyday. But it was peaceful and quiet at night.

The restaurants downstairs are a nightmare. Handy to have but no peace until after midnight. The carpet is the dirtiest I've ever seen in any hotel, house, dump I've seen. I read reviews which mentioned the carpet but thought surely it would get fixed sometime. No! And not one drawer for storing clothes or anything in the entire apt. except for the kitchen. I learned a lesson. I also asked to be taken off the mailing list before I sent this, but you wouldn't listen. So now you got what you asked for.
We stayed at this property for a short getaway. It was just what we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was outstanding. The kitchen was perfect for two people. This unit was located on the back of the building and very quiet. The only minor complaint was the couch could stand to be replaced and we had some issues with one of the TVs. We loved it and would reserve it again for a future trip.
Great location in Asheville with good pricing compared to similar properties that are listed at astronomical prices. Renters need to be able to climb one flight of stairs with luggage. A few of the pictures are not representative of the property and need to be updated. The couch and barstools are different. There is no cafe table and chairs on the outside overlook. The living room rug is soiled and needs to be cleaned. Otherwise it is well furnished and well equipped for a couple. We enjoyed the City Bakery downstairs for breakfast in the morning. We were within walking distance of some great dinner spots also.
We stayed for a week and loved this apartment! The owner maximized the space effectively, and the location was great. We enjoyed the easy parking, quiet neighbors, the beautiful neighborhood, and proximity to everything. Even though the street has quite a bit of traffic, we never heard any of it from the apartment. We would certainly highly recommend this place to stay!
The property was wonderful but the kitchen had minimal items for instance only three of some things like cups or knives. Coffee was there but empty salt and pepper shakers.
Everything was wonderful- the restaraunt and breakfast place below were fantastic.
The bedroom and bathroom could each use some shelving to be able to put your stuff somewhere other then the floor. And just so you're aware the door out to the balcony is really rotted out.
This apartment was a cozy, charming 2nd floor apartment. Easy to locate off the freeway and parking was convenient. We found the location to be easily accessible to all the sights we took in. The bakery in the building was a plus each morning. We were glad we had not planned to do any major cooking as we discovered that the kitchen was very sparsely equipped. We would recommend this location but renters should understand that meal preparation would be tough.
The property overall was good. The location was optimal, we were close to downtown, we didn’t walk because I had my baby with us but it was a 5 min drive to the restaurants. One of the things I didn’t like about the property, it was it didn’t have an elevator (didn’t know before booking) and going up stairs with an infant plus luggage is not fun. Another thing that wasn’t good for us was that the bed sheets had soooo much static that when you spread the sheets you could see the sparks. This was a no no for us, especially since we were sleeping with the baby. We had to cover with towels and baby blankets. In my opinion, they should invest a little bit more in a higher quality bed sheet. Overall stay was good, beside the issue with the bed sheets, place was clean and spacious.
This apartment was just as advertised. It's super clean, nicely furnished, and a 15 minute walk from downtown. It's over a coffee shop and bakery so you don't even have to be fully awake to get a fancy coffee. We used the king sized bed and the couch. Both were super comfortable. I'd stay here again for sure.
Perfect. Seriously the best mattress of out entire trip. Our rooms were clean with plenty of space and we were in a great location. Super easy walk to dinner on Market street and the cute shops.
Ashville is fantastic! We ate great, drove around looking at the wall murals, went to the farmers market, the art district and some awesome breweries.
Thank you for the great stay!
