This was a great base for exploring the area. Comfortable for 4 adults. Gas heating works very well! Beds are comfortable and kitchen has all you need. We would stay again
Enjoyed the stay. This cottage, although close to the center of Oberon, is quiet and on clear nights you can see the starry sky from the back yard.
Inside is very clean and has all the amenities of home. On cold nights there is plenty of heating. We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights.

The house is beautiful, clean and warm! We had a great stay. We were even so lucky to see a bit of snow.
But it does not sleep 5. The 2 double beds are just too small for two adults and a child and there was no extra bedding to sleep on the couch. Other than that, beautiful place to stay when in Oberon!

Hi Katrin,
Thank you so much for your lovely review and we're so glad you had a lovely stay!
Oh we wish you let us know sooner as there is a ottoman bed in the lounge room that comes with it's own sheet, blanket and electric blanket. It sits in the living room with cushions over so you may have thought it's just an ottoman.
In future do let us know during your stay or even before and we can have it all set up for you (or show you where it is/how to set it up).
Hope to see you back in future.
Thanks so much
Jess and Lee
Pine Needle Cottage was nice and clean and we had most of our needs met.
We were disappointed that we couldn't sit outside at the fire pit as pictured in the booking photos.
The only other problem was no dry wood to light the inside fire which was disappointing.
Overall the cottage was clean and tidy.

The property was perfectly warm & comfortable for my husband, my granddaughter and myself.
Paper towel & tissues wld be a good addition. The wifi password being available instead of having to contact the host.
Greater care cld be taken with cleaning behind furniture etc. but all up a very comfortable & enjoyable stay.
Unfortunately given the wrong code for the keysafe. Fixed after call to owner

Little Things
Understood coms from owner re lawns not being done. But this has not been upkept, Tree down in backyard was not a new thing as explained by owner to be recent. Paint on walls was flaking. presentation was not what i was expecting as the outside of the house needed maintenance.
Coffee machine but no milk. should have been warned need to go to the shops prior to arrival.
Just a lot of little things that should be addressed attention to detail and maintain the property and it will be a great asset.
Thank you so much for your perfect weekender for three friends to cook, play cards and enjoy each other’s company. You have a beautiful property that is so cozy and has everything we need. Not our first stay here and will definitely not be our last. Just love it!!!!
The place was nice and clean. Had all the Utensils. Was very warm through the very cold nights. The owner was very nice and communicated with us and made us feel welcome with very easy checkin.
Great place to stay for a few days. Very welcoming hostess. Quite clean.
The cottage was very nice and very comfortable. The hostess supplied a good quality of fire wood and with the wood heater and the gas heater the whole cottage was lovely and warm. Heating in both bedrooms was great as well. The only problem was there was no where to store your food in the kitchen, or to unpack your bags in either of the bedrooms. The hostess were just wonderful.
Our overall experience was good.
For the price we paid, we had hoped the fire was lit and it wasn't, trouble lighting fire as kindling was wet due to being outside in the rain. We had to go and buy kindling to start the fire.
The cottage was a great place to stay to explore the area and nearby Jenolan Caves. The fireplace is a must for a cold weekend.
The cottage was incredibly clean, and had all the comforts including coffee pods and machine.
Lovely little house, had everything we needed, clean and tidy. We were out most of the time, so there just for sleeping and the beds were really comfortable. It felt like a home away from home.
Check in/out process was dead easy and host gave us all relevant info via email.
What a lovely cottage, ideal for a family of 4 or 2 couples…has everything you need and is only a short stroll into town.
The wood burner is brilliant at heating up the entire house, and you also have electric blankets and oil burners in each room. Plenty of cooking utensils in the well appointed kitchen.
The host Jess is very quick to respond and we had a lovely time in this very lovely cottage.
We stayed here for a wedding that was located just outside Oberon. This was the perfect location to base ourselves for the wedding and exploring the region. The heaters came in very handy during our stay and kept the rooms nice and warm. Will definitely be staying again.
“Pine Needle Cottage” was a comfortable base from which to explore Oberon and surrounds. It was well equipped and the log fire was much appreciated. Our host Jess was very efficient and helpful.
