Sea Breeze cottage sits literally 20 feet from the ocean. Its large windows and sliding patio door provide access out onto the large deck offering unobstructed views of ocean and mountains.

You will find all comforts of home including: washer / dryer, dishwasher, wifi, sat tv, wood burning fireplace, 2 full bathrooms, comfortable outdoor patio set, stainless steel porch cable railings for unobstructed views, private 2 car parking.

Best of all: a shared dock in front of your cottage which is great for fishing, watching the lobstermen, taking in a sunset, or sharing a bottle of wine on the double seat while taking it all in. We have 2 other docks for your use as well.

Great stay

Other reviews had mentioned the quiet surroundings and we were also surprised by the quietness of the location. Our stay was at the beginning of the summer season. The house was clean and comfortable with fantastic views.

Spectacular and cozy! Just what we wanted.

The Seabreeze Cottage was perfect! It was on the water, so relaxing and private. It was close to Bar Harbor, but not too close. We really had a wonderful stay!

Relax, rejuvenate

A lovely spot to relax and rejuvenate. The 'camp' is situated so close to the sound that sitting on the deck feels like being on the dock. Watching the lobstermen work right in front of us was fascinating. Highly recommended to hit Beal's for the lobster rolls! The cabin is very comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. Near enough to harbors and trails, yet in a world of its own.

Fabulous Experience

We have been to MDI 8 times and each time we have stayed at a different rental. After spending a week at Chambers Oceanfront Cottages we will never stay anywhere else! The location is along Somes Sound with gorgeous views! The cottages are clean and well-equipped; and the owners are kind and very accommodating. We can't wait to return! .

Quiet and Peaceful

Sea Breeze Cottage on the Ocean is tucked back down a small one lane road with very few neighbors just feet from the water. It is quiet and peaceful through out the day and night. If you looking for a place to unplug and relax with views of water and Acadia National Park your not going to find a much better option on Mt Desert Island. The property manager is great! They were attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The cabin is about 20 - 30 minutes away from anything you want to do on the island and the amenities suited our stay well. We were able to prepare home cooked meals in the well stocked kitchen and got great nights sleep after a long day of hiking in the comfortable beds. I rated 4 stars on the Accuracy of online listing only because when we visited the dock was not available, but this did not impact our stay. Other then that, it was great place lay our head at night and convenient to all the fun things to do on Mt Desert.

This one we hated to leave!

The Seabreeze is one of our favorite vacation rentals of all time. It is so peaceful; so quiet. Hovering just above the water, mornings out on the deck are glorious with the dawn peaking over the mountains across the waters of Somes Sound and waves lapping at the shore. The Seabreeze is like the family cabin passed down through generations, comfortable and cozy, with the difference being that this cozy, comfy cabin is spotless (none of that dusty stuff) with upgraded appliances, bathrooms, wonderful showers, and fluffy towels. The fireplace is loaded with kindling and logs, ready to light. The furnishings are perfect for relaxing and entertaining, or just enjoying that view. We did not do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen seemed very well equipped. If you like lobster, be sure to talk to Paul. He sells fresh lobster for about a third of the restaurant price. And, yes, there is a lobster pot in the Seabreeze. The Seabreeze is located between Bar Harbor, about a 20-minute drive, and Southwest Harbor, about a 10-minute drive. We really appreciated being away from the chaos of Bar Harbor, and found the location gave us easy access to sites in the area. The Seabreeze is so peaceful, and looking out over the water and mountains it is so beautiful! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

Wonderful vacation!

Our family of four had a fantastic week at this lovely cabin. The location and views cannot be beat. The owners obviously put a great deal of care and consideration into all of the little details that make for a wonderful stay. The fireplace was ready to go, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the towels were abundant and more luxurious than at the Four Seasons! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and on the grill. The deck was huge and our sons loved spending time on the dock. Wifi and TV worked great. We would love to return to this property, it was a beautiful, fantastic vacation. Acadia National Park has become one of our very favorite places in the world, and this is a perfect "home base" for experiencing everything it has to offer.

Very secluded

Loved our stay. Cabin was very secluded and quiet. View was fantastic. Watched the lobster men collect their traps, saw a harbor seal and harbor porpoise from our front porch. Cabin was well stocked and a wood In fireplace ready to be lit. Very close to Acadia and everything we wanted to see. Loved eating dinner on the porch and was able to purchase lobster from our host. Great time!!

Spectacular!

This was the perfect rental - the location, the view, the host, the lovely (and very clean) cottage itself and the proximity to everything made our family vacation truly unforgettable. We didn't even mind the rainy day, as we spent it watching the mountains disappear in the mist and fog and then reappear, all while enjoying a fire in the fireplace. And the beautiful days were heavenly - on the deck, on the dock or on the sofa looking out- beauty in every direction, and of course on the many nearby hikes. Being less than 10 minutes from groceries, multiple Acadia trailheads, and the restaurants of Southwest Harbor, and less than 25 mins from the main entrance of Acadia/Bar Harbor. We lucked into this visit on the Quietside - so happy we found Chambers! Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

There was nothing that could’ve been improved on. Absolutely loved the house, the host, the artwork, the location, the view, the fireplace.... :). Everything was perfect!
