We stayed in this condo to celebrate a birthday weekend. It was 2 families- 4 adults and 3 kids. Although it is only 2 bedrooms the pull out murphy bunk bed work perfectly for the kids. It is located close to the pool and marina where we rented a pontoon boat and had a great day on the lake! This is the 2nd time we have visited this community. This time the check in process was more "high tech" which can sometimes be more complicated for those not tech savvy. All and all this was a great place to stay and worked perfectly for our birthday celebration!

Good view with the necessities, nothing more
We arrived to a condo that hadn’t been cleaned (dirty sheets on the floor, clothing items left) and had to wait two hours before it was fixed. In COVID times, this was more frustrating than normal. We walked down to the marina which is very convenient. The walking paths are very nice too as is the balcony with a lake view. The condo had what you needed, but little touches were missing like no coffee when that was advertised, lack of organization in the kitchen (couldn’t find things) and lightbulbs that were out.

Hi Alyssa, thanks for letting us know about your stay. After going over your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the items that you mentioned:
-We recall you arrived early and we can't guarantee an early check-in will be fully guest-ready. We had guests leave that morning and having a same-day turnaround can be difficult. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the outdoor amenities.
-We have addressed the other issues you've brought up.
Thank you for your insight!
I have been trying to get in touch with VRBO and/or the owner. We couldn't not stay there due to a power outage. We spent one night there in the dark and it was horrible with zero visibility. Also, my husband is on a bipap machine for sleep apnea and was unable to use it. My son in law uses a cpap machine for the same reason and could not stay there. We could not stay there any more nights. We couldn't cook, shower, wash clothes, use the pool or any of the amenities. I paid $1000 for nothing and should have some compensation. In addition, the owner charged me another $25 for a transponder that was useless. This is unaccepatable.

Homeowner's Response: "Hi Kathleen, thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We're sorry to hear about the power outage you experienced during your stay, especially considering the specific needs of your family. Unfortunately, the outage was caused by a hurricane, and while we understand Duke Energy had restored power shortly afterward, we regret that the situation impacted your stay. It's our understanding that you attended the Clemson game on Saturday night and chose to leave after staying only one night. As a reminder, the property does have a two-night minimum stay policy.Once again, thank you for your review."

Lake Keowee Yawl Condo
The description lists bedroom 1 has a king bed which is actually a queen. There was only one hand towel and no washcloths. The drain for the shower in the master bath was very slow.
My husband and I enjoyed a short getaway at this lovely condo. We were looking for time to reconnect in a relaxing atmosphere and we definitely found it. Beautifully decorated, so spacious, definitely clean, comfortable beds, spectacular view…. What more could you ask for? I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Place!
We stayed here the week my daughter moved into Clemson University. The condo itself was immaculate and absolutely perfect for our family. Easy access to the condo itself, friendly people at every turn, and we were close to a small swimming beach-just a little walk down a beautiful little path.
We loved it here and cannot wait to return. Exceeded expectations!!
Had a great 4 night stay at the Lake Keowee Resort in Salem SC!
The condo was spacious with a great newly remolded kitchen including countertop, appliances and more. The perfect amount of space for 6 that could have easily accommodated 8 or more guests.
This condo had all the amenities to make our stay a memorable one and we couldn’t ask for a better area like Lake Keowee.
The pool at the condo was refreshing, the daily walks along the well paved and lit trails (at night) were invigorating, not to mention boating, kayak and paddle board rentals which gave us plenty to do!
A great place for short or long stays and would come back to this condo and area in a heartbeat.

We were disappointed that our condo wasn’t cleaned when we got there. We had to alert our property manger and he sent housekeeping over. The bath mats in the master bathroom were very dirty but other than that everything else was clean. Would have liked more towels and washcloths available, especially since it was for a party of 6 adults. Loved the Murphy bunk beds in the den - we would stay here again.
We had a great time. The place was very nice and clean. Keowee Keys was beautiful, we rented a boat and went out on lake Keowee which is beautiful. We also hiked and cooked out. We had a great time.
Great location near pool, marina and walking trail. It could use some updating of furnishings but overall property was large and clean, and had everything we needed. . A great place to stay.
Everything was wonderful! The community, the walking trail, the pool, the convince of being able to rent a boat slip... We will try to stay here again.
The property was wonderful and the owner was very responsive.
We had a great stay, but were harassed by the HOA about a parking hang tag that was accidently tanked by the previous renters. The owner apologized and helped us with the situation.
My family stayed at Tall Ships. The manager Brent Bell was very available, responsive and helpful in the process of signing up, and the check-in process was easy as pie. When I left my guitar Brent was extra helpful in making arrangements to get it back.
The property is beautifully and serenely landscaped including my favorite part, the Leisure Trail. Everything is so peaceful with lovely Lake Keowee quietly reigning over it all.
The outdoor pool is nestled on a small peninsula of the lake so that you can see the lake from it on two sides. At the well-outfitted Fitness Center building just a hop down the road you can see the sky through the roof as you backstroke in the olympic-sized pool. Both pools - in fact everything at the resort - were surprisingly uncrowded in mid-June.
The room is delightful. The first thing you notice is the airiness and openness and view of the lake. Modernly and tastefully furnished, it was decorated with carefully chosen homey items, including sweet nautical themes down to the eating ware with fishing-knot handles. Roomy enough for the 5 of us and impeccably clean.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and more - even coffee, chocolate, olive oil, spices. Multiple coffee pots and quality cookware.
The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. (Except for the fold-out bed.).
Staff at the nearby dock and watercraft rental were friendly and helpful.
We all were very impressed with the entire experience and want to come back often.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very spacious and comfortable. The amenities were very nice but not all were located on the grounds and in walking distance. If you enjoy outdoor activities, there's plenty to do. We would stay there again.
The unit was in very good shape and instructions and keys well done. Good, well stocked kitchen. Balcony was very nice. Corner unit. Partial view of the lake.
The condo was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is fantastic, right on the lake with lots of walking trails and direct access to the marina. The owner is fantastic and very responsive. Overall, fantastic place and great vacation spot!
Big and beautiful, everything you need for a short stay! Kitchen was inviting for cooks, and the 3rd floor view was great. Loved seeing the birds up close, and the lake was wonderful.
