Summary:

Welcome to Swiss Vacation Houses website and thank you for your interest in our piece of paradise. Whether you are a keen water-sports enthusiast or just looking for a beautiful place to relax or golf, we have something for you. Located 30 to 40 minutes from the Orlando attractions, our complex is set on 450 beautiful acres. Be active on the water, golf course or tennis court; cycle, walk, chill out by the pool or head to one of the many area attractions.



The choice is yours. Stay onsite in one of our fully equipped villas, studios or rooms. We are a world renowned site and welcome guests from many countries, from the local area and many of the fifty states, all returning year after year. They have discovered our piece of paradise and we hope to welcome you soon.



If you are traveling alone, as a pair or up to 4 people and are looking for something more affordable perhaps consider staying in one of our rooms or studios. Each of those units is a modest abode with a private en suite bathroom. The rooms and studios are located right by one of our most beautiful lakes and offer our guests a very peaceful surroundings.

All studios are supplied with towels , 1 toilet paper , shampoo , conditioner , soap for your initial arrival.

At few step , you can enjoy Swiss Fairways Golf Clubhouse and Waterskiing. We are also at 35minutes drive to the attractions parks in Orlando.

Daily cleaning service upon request only.

POLICIES/REQUIREMENTS



Always remember to book lodging before flights!

30% Deposit and Mandatory Damage Waiver is required to book our vacation villa.

Adults age 18 and older required to secure a reservation – with valid photo I.D

All Deposits are non-refundable. Final Payment due 60 days before check-in.

If a reservation cancellation has been received on or before 60 days of scheduled booking, Guest will be refunded all monies, less the non-refundable 30% deposit required at the time of booking. Subsequently, no refunds will be made inside of 60 days within or during the scheduled booking; early departures are no exception.



Swiss Vacation Houses, LLC requests that its guests exude seriousness and good will in booking its homes, just as we are serious in fulfilling our end of the commitment to the guest by delivering the home as contracted.

Swiss Vacation Houses, LLC makes every effort in good faith to accommodate our valued guests, and blocking a date for an unfulfilled lease and subsequently turning away another valued guest is not of our practice.

Check-In time is 5:00 pm.

Check-Out time is 12:00 pm.

NO SMOKING is allowed, as we have many valued travelers, of whom, are allergic. We are proud to keep our villas smoke free.

NO PARTIES or LOUD MUSIC is allowed.

TOTAL OCCUPANCY of Guests staying over-night in the villa is to be no more than the villa sleeps.



PETS: Service dogs allowed with paperwork. Other pet request will be considered with a $65.00 non-refundable pet deposit & Pet Policy Form completed. Please advise us at the time of booking if you’re bringing a pet/s.

• Outside of Front Office door will be a red mail box with a Welcome Envelope with your name.



• For Villa bookings, the envelop will contain the directions to your assigned villa and (1) key for front door entry.



• For Sumner Lake House/Studios/Room bookings, the envelope will contain the code for the lockbox key and the directions to your Rental.

Thin walls

We went on a little romantic trip. Unfortunately we could not have any romantic time due to the thinness of the walls. It was disappointing because the area was lovely and we enjoyed the nature around us. Check in was not clear. It was raining and when we got there the office was closed. When I called the owner she was very abrupt and not very nice when I called and asked for help.

Perfect for a couple

We were in Florida to watch our daughter play softball and the little domed Studio 2 was perfect for our needs. Well equipped kitchen and spacious shower made it even better. Only negative at all was the ability to hear the other guests is the adjacent Studio. But it definitely WAS NOT that bad and didn’t distract from our enjoyable time. Thanks!

Good location but noise transfer is an issue

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort is well-located, making it easy to access local attractions and amenities. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, and the staff ensured that all areas were well-maintained. However, there was one significant drawback. The room I stayed in was wall-to-wall with another unit, and unfortunately, the soundproofing was inadequate. I could hear everything from the neighboring room, which disrupted my peace and quiet. I was even woken up at 5:00 AM due to noise from the adjacent unit, which was quite frustrating. In summary, while the resort has many positive aspects, the lack of sound insulation between rooms is a notable issue that needs addressing.

Matress mayhem

We arrived shortly before check in. Gained access to the studio, although the lock on the door doesn't lock so the key was useless. Found a large dead wolf spider by the bed and got rid of that. Started taking a closer look and found that the matress they expected us to sleep on looked like it used to be in a trap house. It was at this point we turned around and left. Let VRBO know it was not a sanitary place to stay and found another place. Still waiting for management to get back to us about a refund. I would add pictures but i can't on here.

Uncomfortable

The property was unique & has potential, however it was a very uncomfortable stay. I don’t usually provide reviews, but I felt compelled to do so this time. We arrived late to the property & had a hard time unpacking & unloading because the site was very poorly lit. Finding your footing or even a sidewalk to our particular studio was difficult. I would definitely suggest additional lighting outside. Once in the studio, it was definitely cute, however, very sparsely stocked for guests and not at all clean. I’m not sure if it had not been “used” by other guests for a while but it was definitely in need of cleaning. (ie. Cobwebs everywhere, thick dust in the vents & when I wiped the high traffic areas they were filthy. The linens had stains but did seem clean, the sofa had pet hair all over it & had not been vacuumed. The floor felt dirty & it did not feel mopped at all. There were no bowls & no dish towels, I had to request them from the owner. When they were provided, the dish towels were new & not washed. I had no way to wash them. I had to purchase additional paper towels to dry the dishes, as well as hand soap that was not provided.) Lastly, two major issues we had with our stay. There was no way for us to regulate the temperature of our studio. No heating or cooling thermostat in our studio. If we were hot or cold, we could do nothing about it. That was AWFUL. However, worse…when we did have neighbors in studio 1, you could hear EVERYTHING!!

Unique place with beautiful view of Lake Sumner

This interesting property is nestled in a quiet, scenic gated golf community. It's tucked away, yet close to everything just off Rt 50. We arrived after hours, the gate code worked, and our key with instructions were in the mailbox as promised. We stayed in Studio 02 which was lovely with ample room for 2 people. The view of the lake was gorgeous, especially at sunrise. Lots of nature and wildlife around. I didn't give 5 stars on the cleanliness because there were crumbs on the small dining table and kitchen countertop, and the floor could have been cleaner. Our unit didn't have an individual temperature control. At times, it was a bit chilly inside the dome, and late at night it got a bit warm, but not to the point we couldn't sleep. The walls are thin so be prepared to hear your neighbors. We read that from another review before we booked, so we brought a table top fan to help drown out the noise. Worth noting for shorter people -- I'm 5'4 and I could only see the top half of my face in the bathroom mirror. The large mirror on the bedroom wall helped compensate for this. No counter space in the bathroom, although the shower was roomy and very clean. Only 1 bath towel and 2 washcloths are provided - no hand towels - so you may want to bring extras. This IS noted on the booking contract but I'm sure some don't read it thoroughly and then are disappointed to find that out there's not enough towels. Ants were a bit of an issue so you may want bring some ant killer. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely lodge here again when visiting our friends in Groveland. Cool place!

The short version. If all you need is a clean bed and shower this is your place. A fairly reasonable price given the area and time of year. Longer - basically along the lines of a motel six. Arrived late at night. Had an issue with the entry gate but thankfully someone else pulled in behind me, who also had trouble but lived there and got it figured it out. Very poor lighting to access the actual unit. Amenities very basic. No climate control, so if you’re a hot or cold sleeper you’re out of luck. Probably wouldn’t use again.

Wedding Night Vibes

My Husband and I stayed in one of the studio domes for our wedding night. It was private and quiet and made for a relaxing evening. It was also very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re coming in from another state/country or even just for a staycation. It’s a nice hidden gem in the hills of Clermont!

Dome Sweet Dome

Very much enjoyed my week in this very well appointed & comfortable geodesic dome Studio 2. It’s one of two studios under one roof with a common HVAC. Nice lake view and enjoyed the morning sandhill crane visits.
