This is our 3rd year of the traditional bridge walk- and the family of 9 all agree that this is our favorite rental!! Not only is it perfect for our family size, but the layout keeps everyone close together! Hands down the winner was the dock to spend the long weekend on the water! The pontoon rental from Curtis and my brother brought his speed boat had no problem docking! Trim up your boat motor, as the water is only 1-2’ deep right at the dock. My brother used the ground mounted anchor tie! We went fishing, paddle boarding, tubing, camp fire, card games and had family dinner at their large dining room table! A!!

Eagle’s Nest is a beautiful property. Everything the listing promised. Well stocked kitchen, lots of outdoor seating, enough Kayaks/Paddle boards to allow the family to enjoy the lake together. Great U P family getaway

We have stayed in many VRBO homes with our extended family through the years and this was certainly one of the best. The bedrooms were perfect for families, the dining tables both inside and on the deck were large with plenty of seating and overall this was the best equipped house we've ever rented. Being on a very nice inland lake but yet so close to Lake Michigan beaches was fantastic. It is an excellent location to explore all the great spots of the eastern and central U P. I highly recommend this lovely log home.

An Eagle's Nest retreat

Superb Vacation at Eagles Nest

Great home for a U.P. family vacation. Excellent lake with shallow swimming and recreation for young kids (and awesome sunsets). Nice personal touches by owners. Short distances to Mackinac Island and Lake Michigan Beach off Route 2. We took nice side trips to Tahquamenon Falls and a Manistique River canoe trip (where we did not see another soul for 10 miles). One of our favorite home rentals ever.
