Each Condo sleeps 4 people so you can either rent each Condo separately or rent both and have up to 8 guests. Located just a few minutes walk from the best food shop on island, a few minutes drive from the main settlement of Georgetown, and close to many restaurants and beach bars, your holiday here will be in your memories forever.

Driftwood Condos is right on the beach on the north side of the island, with its cooling breeze and magnificent turquoise waters where you can swim with the wild turtles, watch dolphins, snorkel in the crystal clear waters, or just soak up the sun on the beautiful beach.

The two Condos are one above the other and benefit from all modern amenities. They are identical; both with two bedrooms (with en-suite bathrooms) and open plan living room, dining area and full kitchen with breakfast bar. With panoramic windows leading onto a full width balcony you can soak up the spectacular view over a cold drink. Each Condo has its own private 35 foot balcony that overlooks the beautiful bay with its stunning sunrises and sunsets. Both Condos also share an outside deck.
If you open the glass doors you can hear the beautiful and gentle sound of the waves. The beach is very safe for children and adults. Because the Condos at Driftwood are elevated and have a whole wall of glass doors you almost feel you are in a boat.

The first floor condo, more suitable for guests with children, provides one queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other that can be converted into a king size bed. This second floor Condo has two bedrooms and each has one queen bed.

The Condos are modern with hotel quality furniture and equipment. All rooms have air condition. The balconies on each condo have chairs and tables to relax and enjoy the view.
The Condos offer luxury flexible accommodations for 2-4 people in each of the two Condos. This flexibility means you can rent either Condo for 2-4 people or both for up to 8 guests.

The Condos are clean and enjoyable and have all of the amenities needed. The bedroom closets have plenty of hangers and storage space for your personal needs. Each condo also has a safe for your valuables. Attached to the building there is a laundry room with a full size top load washer and dryer. Laundry soap is provided.

The kitchen has a full fridge/freezer, microwave, stovetop, counter top oven with convection and rotisserie, a complete set of cookware and small appliances (coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, food processor and Instant Pot). There is also an outdoor gas grill for your grilling needs.

When you arrive at Driftwood Condos you will find five gallons of filtered water in your cooler (which we refill as needed from our own reverse osmosis system), 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, bathroom soap, dish soap, a new sponge, all purpose cleaner, Windex, dishwasher soap, coffee filters, basic spices, plastic food wrap and aluminum foil. If you arrive on a Sunday or after 5:30pm please let us know if you would like us to pick up a few groceries and we are happy to do so if you send us a list. You can reimburse us when you arrive.

Hoopers Bay is one of the main reasons for staying at Driftwood Condos. It is pretty much everyone's idea of the "perfect beach". It is shallow, warm and very safe for swimming. You can run your fingers and toes through powder white sand, whilst drowsing in the shade of a tall coconut palm with a cold drink by your side.
With few people around the half-mile long beach it is quiet and private. Just the place to unwind.

As a guest at Driftwood you have two kayaks for each Condo with life jackets provided and a paddleboard. There are also some floats and toys for children. Snorkeling is always a great way to spend an afternoon, looking for myriads of fish in the crystal clear waters or swimming with the wild turtles that live in the bay.

At Driftwood we have a very unique feature at the beach, which is our very own private space reserved for our guests. Under the beautiful coconut trees we have many different beach chairs, two hammocks and a table and chairs. If you would like to move the chairs closer to the ocean we have umbrellas that you can use for shade. In our beach room we have cushions that you can use on the chairs as well.

You will find everything you need for your stay in and around Georgetown. Grocery stores, a fantastic butcher shop walking distance from the Condos (Prime Island Meats), restaurants/bars, liquor stores, bank machines, gas station and you can purchase souvenirs at the Straw Market and other small stores in town.

There is a lot to do in this magic island including visiting the now famous swimming pigs on a day excursion. Exuma offers the perfect picture of the true Bahamas. It is stunningly beautiful. Nature has excelled herself here. The wild life in the sea, on land and in the air is staggering and the beaches are perfect. Exumians are warm and friendly and welcome visitors with open arms.

Exuma also offers a laid-back life style with casual beach bars, no fancy restaurants or nightclubs, no fashion shops or boutiques. It simply offers you the chance to discover what simple life can really be about.

You can arrange to have a guide with a boat pick you up right at the Condos. Renting a boat on Georgetown (Minns Water Sports) also allows access to all the beaches of Elizabeth Harbor and Stocking Island. Sight seeing, adventure tours (swim with the pigs, visit the iguanas, snorkel at Thunderball Grotto) and scuba diving trips can also be arranged.
