Caribbean-Blue Elk Lake Escape Remodeled 6BR Waterfront Retreat.

Beautiful waterfront lake house with over 100+ feet of sandy frontage with private dock on the the shores of Elk Lake. Our 3200 Sq ft lake house has plenty of room for the whole family. Our Lake house has 6 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen features granite counter tops, and is fully equipped with anything you may need. Large dining area with two tables.
Elk Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Michigan, reminding me of the caribbean with its turquoise waters. Bring your own boat or water toys or rent one from the near by marina. Elk Lake is perfect for swimming, skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and fishing. Take a boat ride through the chain of lakes, travel up the Torch river to the world famous Torch Lake and swim on the popular sandbar. We are less than 30 miles to Traverse City with lots of fun activities to do there in every season, from fall color tours and winery's, Skiing in the winter and amazing restaurants and entetainment.


House comes equipped with all linens, blankets, pillows , towels and beach towels..

Prime summer weeks are 7 nights Saturday-Saturday rentals. Shorter 3 night minimum stays are available off peak.

This is our second family vacation at Lake Life on Elk River! Perfect place for a large group. We went for family get together and everyone had fun. Lots of beach toys available. There a 3 kayaks and a row boat our family used all. The lake is perfect is clear and shallow enough for little ones. House stocked well. Host very responsive.

We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. The weather wasn't great but the home is large enough to spread out and enjoy. The lakefront is beautiful. We did get to spend some time outside (rained on an off) and it was nice. A little sandy beach area for the little ones to enjoy, which they did. A much appreciated large grass area. We setup soccer nets, badminton-volleyball net, plenty of room outside to enjoy! The location is great, close to downtown Elk Rapids and restaurants.

We had a great stay on Elk Lake. We had 10 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was very clean when we checked in. It had everything we needed for our stay. A well equipped kitchen, 2 refrigerators, beach towels, kayaks, beach chairs and our dog loved the huge backyard which is very private. The swim area is awesome for young kids. Its hard sand and shallow for probably 20-30 yards from the shore. It was great!!!.

Every year we, a group of four families, find a place to stay in Northern Michigan for a winter getaway. We came upon this property this year and couldn't have been happier. Beautiful!

Had a really great time during our stay. The house is decorated beautifully and definitely gives you the “beach” feel. We only used the main floor but this place would be great for a larger group. Nicole was great and quick to answer our questions. The view from the back deck is gorgeous. Would stay here again!

Waterfront Wedding

Amazing Elk Lake Gem

We had an amazing Labor Day weekend stay at Nicole’s place. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to complement our trip. She recommended a boat rental that worked out perfectly for us and everyone enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board on-site. Huge yard and plenty of space, couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Excellent family vacation

This home was perfect for our extended family vacation. Nicole is a very responsive host and her property manager, Andrew was ready to help with any issues we had. Loved the huge lawn, fire pit by the lake, kayaks, etc. Very well stocked kitchen with appropriately large cooking pans/griddles for a large group. Super close to pickleball courts and 2 playgrounds. I highly recommend this home!

Family Vacation 2023

House was perfect for our family, young and old! Nicole was great about reaching out and checking in periodically during our stay. Less than a 2 hour drive to Mackinaw City to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island, perfect day trip. Or just hangout at the house and enjoy the views, the water and fire pit! Main floor living area was perfect place to relax with the family. Our family absolutely loved our Michigan vacation on Elk Lake!

This game lace has everything!!

We had an amazing time at Elk Lake!! There were 15 of us and the property accommodate us perfectly!! We really enjoyed the lake and my 4 yr olds really loved the beach!! Elk Lake is gorgeous and very clean! Not very busy so everyone really enjoyed the jet ski’s. There is even a lift and moor to tie up the watercraft!! Really enjoyed the place it really has everything you need!! Will be definitely staying again!!

Wonderful Week at Elk Lake!

We enjoyed the cleanliness and openness of the house! Cupboards were stocked with anything we could have wanted! The upstairs bathroom even had hair ties and cotton pads! The fluffy blankets in the living room were amazing to cuddle up with on the chilly nights we had. The kids loved the easy access to the water and all of us enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit. The dock was great for our friend's boat and for the kids to jump into the water from! Great stay!!

3 generations family fun 2021

Plenty of room for 15 family members. 8 being kids. Loved the back yard and beech area. All the grandkids want to go back in 2022 so we are booked! The lake was wonderful and great for the younger ones. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Thank you for sharing the lake front home with us. We made some great memories.
