Less than 2 hours away from Alicante and Valencia airport lies the old fishing village of Calpe with beautiful views from Peñon de Ifach, the rock and the natural beauty of flamingos feeding on a natural Salt Lake. El Alamo is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with bathroom (modern shower), open plan living room and kitchenette and dining room. Th apartment boasts of new air conditioned units in both bedrooms as well as free standing fans and a wrap around balcony for a relaxing evening tipple.
The location is ideal for quick and easy access to sandy beaches and an array of excellent bars and restaurants. There are 2 high end local restaurants El Toro and Vina de Calpe a throws stone away - ideal for all the family to enjoy. Calpe town itself is only a 30 minute walk along the beach front or less than 10 mins by car. There's also a small model train which you can catch from Hotel Esmerelda, just a 5 minute walk away which will take you into Calpe town. Nearby picturesque towns are Altea and Moraira as well as Benidorm which is just a 40 minute drive away if you want to sample a buzzy nightlife.

Überwintern in Alamo calpe

The apartment itself was very clean . Sue and Richy were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the apartment is in an old building. Three and a half days we couldn't use the kitchen as the water from the sink was not draining. Also the water from the washing machine was pushing up in the shower. The view from the living room was poor. You always look at the wall of mercadona. The terrace is windy and the isolation of the building is bad. What we also missed was an oven in the kitchen and a vacuum cleaner.

Estupendo Apartamento

Apartamento con parking privado, junto a grandes supermercados y a unos 400 o 500 metros de la playa. Sue te lo entrega muy limpio y desinfectado, que es de agradecer. Está muy bien equipado en la cocina. Las camas están renovadas. El baño también. Y dispones de aire acondicionado en las habitaciones. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos.

Tranquilo y cerca de todo

El apartamento es amplio, con dos habitaciones, una cama matrimonio y otra con dos camas, zona muy tranquila, con parking privado y terraza, hay un supermercado justo al lado y otro cruzando la carretera, esta a 5 minutos de la playa, tiendas restaurantes, Susan encantadora, hemos pasado unos dias estupendos.

Un apartamento amplio, bien situado al lado de supermercados y a 5 minutos a pie de la playa. Con plaza de aparcamiento y aire acondicionado en las habitaciones. El único defecto que le encuentro es que las camas no están bien, los somieres tienen tablas rotas y no apoya bien el colchón.

Preis. und- Leistungsverhältnis war gut.

Sehr nette Agentin. War jederzeit für uns da wenn wir sie brauchten. Die Wohnung war gut aufgeteilt. Habe nur 3 Kritik Punkte. Das Bett im Schlafzimmer stand direkt unter der Klimaanlage, so daß wir in der ersten Nacht ständig den Luftstrom gespürt haben. Haben das Bett dann umgestellt. Leider ist die Sicherung mehrmals am Tag immer für 1-2 Minuten ausgefallen, wenn z. B. Der Wasserkocher und Ventilator gleichzeitig an war. Den Silikon im Badezimmer konnte man auch nochmal austauschen. Wir würden die Wohnung aber jederzeit wieder buchen. Für mich nur kleine Kritikpunkte. Was wieder gut war, dass Sonnenschirme und Stühle für den Strand vorhanden waren. Sowie Spielgeräte. Der Balkon war auch klasse. Hatten jeden Abend einen leichten Luftstrom. Gut bei den Temperaturen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub.

Our stay in your apartment was very enjoyable it had everything we needed we will book it again.

We love Calpe we have been quite a few times it has loverly clean beaches and the locals are very friendly and helpful the apartment was Brilliant it was very close to the beach and there were a couple of supermarkets very close by plus plenty of restaurants within short walking distance, there is plenty to do in and around Calpe, if you hire a car there are many places to visit that are easy to get to, there is even a road train that will take you into the centre of Calpe . Overall our stay was fantastic well recommended.

El Alamo

A fantastic 2 bedroomed apartment, close to all amentities, a pleasant 10 minute stroll to a wonderful beach. The apartment was very spacious for a family of four, lots of hot water after a long day at the beach, large fridge for the essentials (beer, wine and icecream). A hob for the odd night in and air con in each bedroom to ensure a good night's sleep. Perfect.

Unfortunately we both work so we can't spend as much time as we'd like in Calpe but we try to get out for some sunshine at least once a year.

We take a lot of time and trouble to ensure our home is well kept and have some fantastic people helping us keep our home in good condition so our guests can enjoy their time with us.

Why they chose this property

El Alamo is situated in the town of Calpe just 40 minutes away from Benidorm. The apartment is located 10 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the famous rock, Penon de Fach which is likened to the rock of Gibralter (well, a much smaller version!).

The weather here is wonderful, especially for those sun worshipers. The old town of Calpe is equally wonderful with many modern shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The old part of town has some wonderful cobbled stoned alley ways leading up and up to the church square where you will find some traditional Spanish restaurants. Because it is an old fishing village you will still get the fresh catch of the day which you must try. The food here is just devine. You can't beat a good jug of Sangria and tapas in the evening!

What makes this property unique

El Alamo is just 10 minutes walk from the nearest sandy beach (Plays Levante La Fossa). It is ideal for families young and old equally. There are 2 supermarkets on the doorstep so in actual fact there is no need to hire a car if you don't want to drive.

There is an abundance of restaurants and bars including a more upmarket restaurant just a few minutes walk to the right of the apartment. There is also a fully operational laundry under the block which can have your clothes washed and ironed within a few hours.

You can leave all your cares behind when you come to Calpe because there is something for everyone, young and old. You can catch a small train from across the road in front of Hotel Esmeralda which will take you into Calpe town where you can spend the day and then return by taxi for a few euros.
