Charming cottage, Private Oasis!- AC for summer months!

This one bedroom cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple looking for a get-away. Overlooking one acre of rolling hills with signature Block Island stone walls, this delightful cottage offers privacy and the Island's best stargazing.
Located just over a mile to downtown and the beach, it is easy to enjoy all Block Island has to offer. Walking distance to Greenway Hiking Trails as well as New Harbor, the cottage provides a convenient home base for exploring what The Nature Conservancy refers to as "A last great place."
The cottage offers one bedroom with a queen sized bed (with a very comfortable mattress) and a love seat in the living area. **All sheets and towels (plus beach towels) are included. A high-top table is also in the open living area.
There is a full bathroom with a large tiled shower, as well as an attached private hot/cold outdoor shower.
There is also a deck with a bistro set as well as a gas grill for outdoor cooking.
The kitchen includes a refrigerator, oven/stove top, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and teapot. We also have AC for the summer season! You will have your own dedicated parking space as well.
All household products, including: soap; plastic wrap; aluminum foil; paper towels; toilet paper etc. are provided.
So, just pack your bathing suit and flip flops and enjoy! If it is your first time on Block Island or your thirtieth, we look forward to making your experience a truly memorable one.
PLEASE NOTE: There is an additional 14% tax on rentals in Rhode Island as well as a 1% Block Island tax.

We absolutely loved the cottage! It was such a great location, and had everything we could have needed during our vacation. Communication from the Host was excellent, we were able to check in seamlessly, and even a little earlier than we had planned which was awesome! We will definitely be back next summer, Thanks so much for such an amazing stay!

The Dunne cottage was wonderful. Immaculately clean, wonderful linens and towels provided, and very well equipped. We did a lot of cooking there and did not want for anything in the kitchen or the grill.Julia, Marti and Ed were great hosts. Easy to contact ( although there was never a problem to report) and kind to check in and see how everything was going. We would highly recommend this location.Happy Travelers,Kathy and Shaun

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is exactly as stated and very clean.Although a bit small, we made do. We had relatives next door so found ourselves seldom at the cottage. I liked the idea of linens and towels provided as well as beach chairs that were quite nice.The kitchen is well equipped to make a full meal. The bedroom is air conditioned so that is nice as well. The couch in the living room/kitchen area was a two seater with a slipcover. Slipcover wasn’t the best. Be aware that the owners are on the property daily for its upkeep and they keep it impeccable! You have full use of the property as well. We did have dinner one night on the picnic table which sits atop a hill and the views are spectacular…enjoy your stay

Quaint countryside cottage

The Dunne Cottage

A lovely quiet spot for us to use as home base for our bicycle trips to beaches, tennis and downtown. Owners are lovely and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay on one of our favorite places BI!

BI cottage.

Small and very clean. Everything you need is there.biggest drawback was the steep and uneven stairs to get to the unit, otherwise all was good.

Perfect long weekend cottage for two!

Enjoyed staying in quiet area far enough from town with grilled dinners, nightly fires at the picnic table up on the hill out back overlooking scenic rolling hills and stone walls. Kitchen was very well appointed for simple meals, everything was super clean and comfortable, and of course the outdoor shower was the perfect way to end our beach days. Hosts Marti and Ed were super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Short walk to Ellen’s at the airport for breakfast. Hope to get back next year!
