Beautiful cabin with many wonderful things inside and out to enjoy our stay while we were in Washington. A Wonderful stream to listen to as well in the back yard with some mountains. In view from upper rear porch. Highly recommended!
This was the perfect spot for our family while exploring Mt. Rainier! My only complaint, which is my fault I didn't realize there was no AC and it was really warm the first day/night but after that it cooled off and it wasn't needed. There was also plenty for outlets and everything thing you needed, besides a TV which the outdoors provided more than enough entertainment. We loved the stream in the backyard and also visited the lake near by a couple times which was beautiful and calm!
This vacation could not have been better. Excellent communication with the host going out of his way to provide a personal request. It meant we could enjoy the surrounding rivers and streams even more with fishing. The property is right on a gorgeous Creek which gives you all the atmosphere plus a place to dip your toes. Or fish. Or swim. And it's a 5-minute walk to a large Open River with a community beach and place for fishing for relaxing. We hiked several times in and around Mount Rainier and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The home itself is perfectly appointed and very comfortable. Exactly what you need to enjoy the area. We appreciated the hospitality very much.
The cabin was absolutely perfect for the last leg of our National Park trip! It felt like we were staying in someone’s home, not their rental. Highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a relaxing and peaceful vacation, this is the house for you! I love the creek in the backyard. It’s probably my favorite part of staying here.
Cozy and fun! Packwood has all you need to adventure into Mt Rainier National Park and this property is great jumping off point to explore the wild, wind down after a busy day in the trails, or wandering j to town to take part in some eats and live music. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are going to visit Mt Rainier!
I walked in and felt like I was home. This cabin is actually a fully-equipped house with all the modern conveniences. There are fun touches everywhere you look. It’s a few min out of Packwood. We learned that Packwood has a huge city-wide flea market over Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. We were there over Memorial Day weekend and the traffic in town was terrible. The one supermarket in town is very overpriced. I suggest shopping elsewhere before arriving. The house was very clean and comfortable with lots of seating inside and out. Do follow the instructions in the notebook and pop over to your private beach. It’s really nice. Host was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this property as a base for exploring Mt Rainier.
You're close to Mt. Rainier NP as well as Packwood at this charming cabin. Great communication with owner. Can' say enough good things about this place.
We (8) had an amazing time at this cabin. Super close to White Pass and the nice food options in Packwood. Right on a creek and a good option regardless of the weather.
Charming and cozy!
