Very nice house with character, recently renovated in the purest style of the Ile de Re and tastefully decorated.
The house is composed of a main building (4 bedrooms / 8 beds) and a secondary house (2 bedrooms / 4 beds). Ideal to be together while maintaining a certain independence. You can take your meals outside on the terrace (tables, parasol, barbecue) or inside. The house is ideally located in the center of the Fleet, 5 minutes from the Port, the Marche (open every day), the beach, sailing and tennis clubs.

Pretty and comfortable home

Our hosts were welcoming and kind. The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped for our group. The rooms were large and very comfortable and we loved being just around the corner from the market in La Flotte.

Beautiful home in the charming town of La Flotte. Very conveniently located a few blocks away from the market and shops, but in a quiet street. There was plenty of room for the whole family and the children loved playing in the shared garden. Be aware that parking is not permitted on the road, but there are public parking areas just a short walk away.

Beautiful home away from home!

Gorgeous home located minutes from shops, restaurants and the water. Fully furnished property with lots of bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Loved the cute guest house that sleeps 4. The location is so close to town, you don’t miss using your car. I would recommend renting extra bikes.

Fantastic location and a beautiful neighborhood

The house itself is gorgeous and located literally 2 minutes walk to supermarket and bakery, 5 min to the food market and harbor and 10 min to the beach. Even a lazy person like me had no issues walking to everything - in heels I might add - and the village is the new love of my live. Super nice people, great restaurants, it was just perfect. What puts the grade down a bit is the following; - no lights on the toilet upstairs for the entire week. It was broken when we came and wasn’t fixed during our stay. - there was a really bad smell of sewage coming from the same toilet which spread to the entire upper floor - the outdoor dining furniture were rusty and extremely uncomfortable - the oven didn’t work properly - the lounge cushions were dirty - the pool had not been cleaned before our arrival. We had to remove bugs and leaves and the water did not look fresh - due to language difficulties (we don’t speak French and the landlord spoke very poor English) we had to wait outside the property for 15 min before the landlord arrived. Not something you appreciate after 6 h in a car. At checkout we had to wait a full hour longer that planned. This was all due to misunderstandings because of the language barrier. - our neighbors were renovating their house and started drilling at 9 every morning. A reasonable time if you aren’t on vacation and would like to sleep in on occasion. However this isn’t the house owners nor the landlords fault of course but it did effect our experience. But these are all minor issues and we still grade this as a super fantastic vacation and the contact with the owner has been really great. The landlord also gave us some tips on beaches and brought extra pillow cases upon request. So overall a very positive experience! Raise the bar on maintenance just a bit and there will be a full pot for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely open home - perfect for an extended family. Very close to the marche shops and restaurants. It was a heatwave and we made good use of the garden BBQ and spa.

Superbe maison idéalement située dans le centre de la Flotte

Une superbe maison idéalement située dans le centre de la Flotte !! La décoration est soignée, la maison très bien équipée et agréable à vivre. L'extérieur est un peu petit (certaines photos de l'annonce sont antérieures à l'installation de la piscine) mais reste très agréable pour une maison de village !! Les échanges et l'accueil sur place ont été rassurants et fluides. A noter pour ceux qui arrivent en voiture qu'un emplacement devant la maison est disponible pour charger/décharger la voiture (stationnement temporaire) et de nombreux parking restent à disposition dans les environs proches. Nous recommandons cette location !

In the heart of the village and extremely quiet and minutes away from the beach

We stay in La Flotte every summer and this was the best house we ever stayed in. The host was very helpful and responsive to our little needs before and during the stay. We stayed as a big family group with kids and elderly people and the house could cater for everyone, with cosy bedrooms accessible to all, while shopping is literally metres away. We could also all walk to a restaurant to watch the World Cup final and so could we again to be watching, front row, Bastille day’s amazing fireworks in La Flotte. We would unconditionally recommend Alexis’ place and say it’s worth every penny.

Quelques accessoires de jardin "délabrés", abri de jardin faisant plutôt office de dépotoir, 6 chaises de jardin pour une maison sensée accueillir 12 personnes. Mais déco soignée, (sauf le mobilier de salon de chez Emmaüs) . bon équipement de cuisine et vaisselle et excellente situation. Endroit très calme. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Toutes remarques dans un esprit constructif. Endroit à recommander donc.

Parfait !

Une très belle, chaleureuse et grande maison, qui est idéalement placée dans le centre de La Flotte, l'un des plus beaux villages de l'île de Ré ! La petite maison au fond du jardin, avec 2 chambres, salle de douche et wc, est un véritable atout... Le propriétaire est vraiment très agréable et nos échanges ont toujours été très sympathiques.
