A fantastic house to stay in, perfect location for the pubs and restaurants in Wareham, with Poole harbour and the numerous lovely spots and beaches in the Purbecks and Studland also on your doorstep.

Property was ideal for us to have a weekend playing a couple of courses nearby and retreating to the house in the evening. Lots of space, rooms, good food options close by and a table tennis table!
The house is spacious, well equipped and the walled garden is lovely and well looked after. We have enjoyed staying at the house twice and highly recommend this property. You wouldn't be disappointed!

Thanks Tony and we are delighted you all had a good time staying in Wareham.
The house is situated in a very central and convenient place. Amazing property, like a warren. Packed with character and we felt quite at home. The parking and secluded garden a bonus Thankyou for letting us stay in your home.
The property was just what we needed for our family break with the children and one grand child. The hosts have thought of everything a family would need. The house looks even better than the pictures and the walled garden is delightful. We will definitely stay here again as everyone loved it so much.

We have had an amazing weekend at this beautiful property which is spacious, comfortable, quirky and full of home comforts.
Everything you need is here and Wareham was a delight…we had fun in Wareham pottery painting at Pottery Corner and an amazing meal at The Italian Kitchen. Thank you so much.
Great experience from beginning to end
David was always quick to respond with any questions, and very helpful
I stayed with 7 friends for the weekend.
We all loved the house; which is full of character, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Equipped with everything you could hope for.
In a very good location to explore Wareham and lots of other places
This beautiful family home couldn't have been more perfect for our gathering of three generations to celebrate our parents' 90th birthdays. Everything we needed - and more. A perfect base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck and for spending many happy hours enjoying this wonderful house and garden.
Our second visit to this property. Lovely place. Well equipped. Very good standard of accommodation. Games room a real bonus for our children (and us adults, to be honest!). 6 adults and 2 children in our group. Beds to spare. Thoroughly met our needs. Would recommend.

Beautiful house in a great location!
A beautiful house in a great location. This is a wonderful family home, full of character and quirks. It was perfect for us. Full of books and games and the pool/air hockey table was such a bonus. Beautiful drawing room with wood burner and French windows out onto a charming garden. Bedrooms were lovely and spacious too. The owners were friendly and helpful and happy to share their local tips. Would highly recommend.

Delighted that you were able to share our slice of Purbeck paradise!
Lovely big house with large rooms. Everything works and the kitchen is especially well equipped. A lovely private garden with nice patio. Parking for one car but next to big carpark though only has max 4 hour parking. Wareham a pretty town with all amenities in. walking distance. Good games room oversll a superb family house
This was a really lovely place to stay. We were a group of 8 friends, 5 of whom met at university and were celebrating 40 years of knowing on another. The property is characterful and quirky, and it felt very much like staying in someone's home. Had the weather been bad we would have found plenty to do in the house as there was a games room and a piano in the living room. Two of us played the piano quite a bit over the weekend and several played both pool and table tennis. The kitchen warmed by an aga was a cosy gathering place and probably the most well-equipped kitchen that I have ever encountered in a holiday home!

About the host

We are a family of 6 and divide our time between Wareham and Wimbledon. We love this house and the Purbecks and enjoy this area all year round from winter walks to sailing and swimming at our favourite beaches - Mupe Bay, Studland, Durdle Door and Man of War. The people here are so friendly and having local amenities and our large garden has made the house perfect for both children and adults.
Why they chose this property
This is a family home painted with Farrow & Ball colours, with lots of pictures and comfortable places to sit. There are spaces to hide away from the children in peace and also activities for everyone such as pool and table tennis. The house has good Wifi reception and a modern flat screen smart TV in a separate room.
What makes this property unique
The house has original features but has also been enhanced with modern amenities such as modern bathrooms, mains pressure hot water, good showers and space for everyone! The ability to live in comfort while being close to shops and restaurants in Wareham with the glories of Dorset at your beck and call.
