This stunning Cosy Cottage is perfectly nestled in a quiet peaceful hamlet within easy walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants with a long driveway with enough space for 2 cars, Making it perfect for holidaying with family & friends.

The cottage is designed in a bungalow style, so everything is at ground floor level, No stairs! Making it ideal for all age groups. The windows in the roof space shown in the main photo are purely for cosmetic design

The cottage has been furnished to provide guests with complete home from home comfort with comfy sofa's, large TV with Freeview channels & dvd player ( choose a movie from our DVD Library) and a super relaxing conservatory overlooking the tranquil garden, Perfect for that first morning coffee. Both the master double & twin bedrooms have views of the garden and Freshly cleaned & ironed bed linen & towels are all included for a wonderful, relaxing & comfortable stay.

Superb property

Fab weekend

The weather was lovely always helps, the cottage was in a great position for the dogs with the Sandilands walk to sea meaning we were only 10 mins away from the sea front. The cottage had everything needed, the conservatory was the best!

Relaxing weekend

Carl was really helpful due to us changing our booking to the other property he rents out in Mablethorpe, the house was well equipped, garden enclosed great for GSD, close to fantastic beach with lovely large beach cafe, thoroughly relaxing stay before the madness of Christmas, will definitely be back again.

Great cottage

Lovely cottage with everything you need and very clean and tidy, lovely to have a conservatory which was always warm. Also good to have the enclosed garden. Just a short walk to the beach where dogs were allowed. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

Nice cottage good location

We stayed at sunshine cottage mid July and found it to be very comfortable. Only a very short walk to the beach and to town with a nice secluded garden perfect for our Labrador. The pond was very nice and it was like home from home as we have fish of our own. There was fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived so we could have a cup of tea straight away. Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Very clean Everything you could need supplied. Dog friendly garden Plenty of space Covenient to beach Would have been 5 but feel that decor is tired. Should consider chaning nets to blinds as weather was hot and cottage very warm

A lovely little property.

A very clean property, with everything a family of 4 might need for a stay near the sea. Quiet neighbourhood. A problem with a drain was fixed very quickly; the owner and the housekeeper both contacted us to explain what was happening.

As you know my wife was ill ‐ and is still attending hospital daily- and she found the garden room very restful It was a shame we had to cut short our stay because the cottage was ideal for us - and our dog - to have a break

Cosy cottage in Sutton on Sea

Stayed at the cottage during Easter week 2016. Sunshine Cottage is really near to the promenade and beach - so handy for dog walks by the sea. Sutton on Sea had enough to offer for us for a few days, a quaint seaside village unlike the nearby the larger busy resorts nearby. Not far by car if you want to visit them. The weather was quite cold when we visited but the heaters in the cottage made us feel nice and cosy. Good dog friendly garden and off road parking. Ideal if you want a quiet relaxing break to the seaside.

Great Location. Bungalow in need of good modernising there was mould in bedroom above curtain rail which needs attention and also paveing not very safe as sumflags up down un even also gate fence side drive way rotten very loose on end panel and pvc on window sills and conservatory could do good clean also disappointed with fish pond as said on sight was one which should taken off as just weeds and mess and garden could do sum attention

Coconut Cottage 17th - 24th May

Spent a lovely week in this place, clear instructions from the owner for everything together with recommendations for places to eat & visit. Cottage well equipped with comfy beds & sofas. Large garden for our Chihuahua's to run around in, however my hubby had to run a bit of chicken wire along the bottom of the gate & fencing on the drive as we have a chihuahua who thinks she is Houdini! We had good weather which makes all the difference, loved the close proximity to the beach & also a lovely dog walk at the end of the road. Had some nice takeaways from The Axe & Cleaver, Gerado's Italian & Mo's Indian Cuisine. Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness is worth a visit & dogs are allowed. It will be nice to visit again once the new penguin enclosure is finished. We would highly recommend a stay in this cottage & hope to return in the future.

Overall the place was lovely, close to the beach and very quiet area, however unfortunately the sofas and chair smelt really bad of dog urine, obviously understand pets are allowed but the smell was very over powering However if this wasn't the case it would be spot on, would recommend 👌

Break by the sea, Daisy and me!

The 'cottage' was perfect. The rules with regard to the expected behaviour of dogs was totally appropriate, and exactly mirrors my rules at home, so that was easy for both of us. The location also was just like being at home, but beside the sea. I would just suggest that the old pond/paddling pool area needs a tidy up, otherwise the garden was lovely, not overloooked, and safe for Daisy. Thank you, we shall be coming again! Sue.

Wonderful Character cottage in superb location

This cottage ticks every box, Spacious, feel good, immaculately clean, a home from home. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay a lovely one. It has a large garden which was great for our 2 border collies to play in, very secure and parking for at least 3 cars, great if like us you have some friends visit you during your stay. The weather was great and we loved the picturesque village of Sutton which is a great village for shops, tea rooms and lovely restaurants. A few minutes drive takes you to Mablethorpe or Skegness and we loved the giant indoor and outdoor markets at Ingoldmells. All in all a superb holiday and will be rebooking for sure. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay in the bungalow very much. There was a few problems, which we highlighted in a letter we left at the property. 1} the dining table was unsafe as the legs were unstable. 2} The bedroom doors did not shut fully. 3} Although we found a short cut to the beach the information says the bungalow is next to the beach.4} The fan extractor although the light came on the fan did not work. Despite the few problems we found we enjoyed our stay in the bungalow and will stay in the bungalow again when we next visit Sutton on Sea.

We stayed for 10 days in June - we booked having read all the information and reviews so were aware of the arrangement with electricity. We did have an issue with the electricity prepayment key not working but once the owner realised it was sorted along with the help of the housekeeper by the next morning and didn't impact our stay. The bungalow is on a lovely quiet estate and in a perfect location - less than five minutes walk to the dog friendly part of the beach, which is stunning and only about ten minutes walk to the shops. The garden was perfect for us - totally secure for our dogs (high walls and fences all round) and really peaceful. We enjoyed Sutton on Sea and sitting out at the dog friendly Beach Bar - all in all a nice quiet seaside village with pretty much everything you need. Bathroom of the bungalow could do with a refresh, certainly wouldn't stop us booking again, but makes it 4 rather than 5 star review.

Why they chose this property

Being a Pet owner myself, I was always disappointed at the lack of homes available that welcome pets, So when i purchased this lovely cottage, I wanted to make sure that other pet owners would have the pleasure in being able to bring their best friends with them too.

Sutton on Sea is such a nice, clean and relaxed seaside village and this particular home looked so lovely in the sun when i passed it one day, with a welcoming sunny garden, its cute little fishpond, it had everything i was looking for in a "Get away from it all" home. A Lovely peaceful location just minutes from the sea, a short stroll to the village shops & restaurants, this home has it all and has proven extremely popular with my wonderful guests & their little friends returning year after year.

What makes this property unique

This quaint cottage has a lovely large sunny garden, it is spacious and yet very homely. Guests often comment about how they really enjoy relaxing in the conservatory of which overlooks the pretty garden. It has a long driveway with off road parking for upto 3 cars and the garden is totally secure for pets enabling owners to have complete peace of mind.
