You can relax in the open living room area, enjoying the matching furniture, stylish beanbag chairs, wooden entertainment center with a cable-equipped flatscreen TV, expandable dining table, and cozy breakfast bar. Speaking of dining areas, you'll enjoy cooking in the full kitchen.

Located a short walk from downtown Ketchum, right at the Sun Valley / Ketchum border, you will be just minutes from all there is to see and do in this popular area. Though downtown Ketchum has a variety of charming eateries, preparing meals in your kitchen is a great way to be budget-friendly on your vacation. Bring your skis, snowboards, and sleds! Sun Valley is beloved by many as a fantastic winter destination for all kinds of activities in the snow. Right on the bus line to the ski area, you'll be treated to pickups every 15 minutes during peak ski season. This part of Idaho is also a fantastic place to walk, bike, and explore in the summertime. Great, comfortable condo. Awesome location.

The location, right on the edge of Ketchum and Sun Valley was very convenient. I really loved that even though the weather was quite warm and the unit does not have AC, the bedrooms downstairs stayed cool. I will definitely check to see if this place is available the next time I visit the area.

Great place to stay to experience all that Ketchum and Sun Valley have to offer!

This was an ideal place for our family of four to stay. We parked the car when we arrived and barely had any use for it until it was time to go home. Great access to the bike trails, downtown, the resort and more. The property is a bit older, but the furnishings are nice so it didn't really matter. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, 3rd time staying here.

I really like this property either in the winter or the summer. Easy walking distance to restaurants , shopping etc.. Very quiet off street location. My only complaint is the downstairs carpet had a large horrible stain on it, and there were many other spots through out the bedrooms. I realize white carpet is hard to keep up but maybe it's time to replace it? The rest of the condo is always very clean and welcoming.

The biggest issues we had were the wifi not working for long and the shower rod in the downstairs falling off walls most showers. We had a week there and needed the wifi for our computers and work. We were there for a bike event, so we need to shower daily, so that was frustrated to get water everywhere each shower, plus, not with hot water for 3 people, we'll were quick, but needed to wait an hour between showers 2 and 3. For the price and location, it was great, we're just being picky now honestly. Like I wrote, we'd stay here again next year for the same event if we end up coming back. Thank you

Good Size.. should've read the fine print

This place is a good size and has almost all the amenities you could ask for. We stayed in early Sept and their is no AC. The unit gets suuuper hot upstairs and they don't want you opening one of the sliding doors because it's broken. Given how much we paid to stay here you'd think you would be able to access both balconies. The location was good for the summer time but in the winter it's pretty far from the resort. The appliances work but my God they are old. Overall I'd probably stay here again but not in the summer.

Great location - Clean - Needs some updating.

As my title implies you cannot find a better location if you want to be in town. Easy walk to everything. The Condo was very clean. However, as stated by other reviews the off white carpet needs replaced. Numerous stains give the impression that it is dirty. Some furniture had stains also . Small appliances need replacing as well, microwave, toaster, etc. In my opinion some small investment in the property would garner a higher nightly rate. I would typically give these comments privately to the owner but as it is managed by Vacasa everything seems to be automated rather then dealing with a human. Sign of the times I guess.

This Val D'Sol unit is perfectly located at the edge of Ketchum on the trail to Sun Valley. It is quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is fine and well supplied. Due to the poor cable TV and Internet connection, this would not be the ideal place to work from to support Zoom or high speed internet apps. Cable is basic only, no sports. The unit is not air conditioned, which proves challenging when the temperature hits 90 degrees in Ketchum. With a few improvements, this would be a much more comfortable unit.

Good condo in great location

We really enjoyed the proximity (walking distance) to Ketchum and Sun Valley village. My kids also loved the community pool. The condo itself was very comfortable but like almost every other condo this year up there struggled to deal with the record setting heat wave since it did not have A/C.

Great Condo, Great Location!

This is a comfortable, and nicely appointed condo with 2 downstairs bedrooms and a large living room and kitchen upstairs. It has wonderful views and is a nice place to hang out. The downstairs beds are comfortable and have great pillows! It is a short walk(3-10min) to everything in Ketchum Village( markets, library, shops, town square, etc) and about a 15 min walk to the Sun Valley Ice Rink, Lodge and shops. If you head to Sun Valley, bring carrots to feed the horses in the gorgeous pastures you'll walk by. The kids loved the pool.

Rent during Winter

If you stay here during the summer plan on being very hot. With no AC this unit gets really hot. It is in great proximity to the bike path and super easy to get to town so that's a big bonus.

We just returned from our Sun Valley ski vacation. We spent 6 nights in SV with two 13 year old boys. The condo worked very well for our family. It was clean and tidy, the kitchen was stocked, and the unit had a nice family sitting area for relaxing in together. The condo is dated and old-fashioned, but we knew that based on the photos and other comments. It definitely had a "ski condo" vibe, but we were happy with it and would rent it again for a similar family trip. The condo is in a great location, right on the bike path - you can walk to town or up to the SV Lodge. The location can't be beat!

Great condo for the price.

We just returned home from our most recent Sun Valley ski vacation. We were traveling with two 13 year old boys. The condo had plenty of room for the four of us with a nice family sitting area, stocked kitchen for cooking, and two bathrooms. The condo overall was tidy and neat. It is dated and old-fashioned, but has a "ski condo" vibe, which we were expecting based on the photos and price. Val de Sol #6 was a great option for us and our travel needs. We chose this condo for its location and convenience to town. It is right on the bike path and a short walk to town or up to the SV Lodge. Overall, it's a great deal and we would rent it again for a similar family trip.

Wonderful stay

My family and I were in Sun Valley for a wedding and this condo was perfect for us! Wonderful location and great setup for the down time we did spend in the townhome. We can't wait to come back and visit Sun Valley again, and would love to stay at the property again.

Not worth the money.

The location for this property is very good. However it is old and starting to show it's age. Also no air conditioning. When we arrived the living area was very hot. The only way to cool it down to be comfortable was to keep all the sliding doors open all night. But that didn't feel very safe. Last point is that having white carpets in a rental is plain crazy.
