Note for 2025. We have reduced our listing price by 20% for the year as there is construction work happening locally.
Some works may be quiet or hundreds of meters away and past guests have said that it has not been a problem for them. However, we do want to be completely honest with potential guests.
The Villa is on an exclusive private complex with 3 stories, with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, lounge, dining room, bedroom terrace, balcony, roof terrace and garden. Fully fitted kitchen. A flat-screen TV and high-speed internet. Bedrooms back onto a private garden and beautifully maintained residential pool one minute walk away. No passing traffic yet five minutes drive from Carvoeiro centre and supermarkets. Perfect for a family holiday or golf. The property overlooks the 4th tee of the golf course. As owners, we are aware that internet scams have been taking place and are available to talk on the telephone, provide Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin authentication and also accept credit card payments to ensure security!

My only suggestions would be to have printed operating instructions for all of the appliances (washing machine**)in various languages. Ulf was very considerate and helpful.

Paradise in the Algarve

The villa is perfectly situated near Carvoriero, grocery stores, beaches... Community is elegantly situated on the Minho golf course. The patio situated right outside the dining area is perfect for early evening relaxing with golf course trees providing privacy. We arrived mid Feb and found the villa quite cool. Both the owner Michael and his property manager Ulf were very kind and helpful.

Great spot

We had nearly 2 weeks here in March, a delightful time to visit the Algarve. The condo is on the end of a 3 unit block and consequently very quiet and bright. We were met by the property manager who gave a full orientation and suggestions for dining and shopping. It had everything you might need including a maid service during the week! You can dine inside, on the attached deck or on the roof top terrace. Parking was a breeze and the views south dramatic. It's on the 4th hole of the golf course. One of the neat features is the overwhelming warmth and welcoming of the owner, Michael Evans from the UK. He is wonderfully gracious.

Top Class Villa !

My wife, 2 children and myself enjoyed a fantastic 2 week stay in this property at the beginning of July. Prior to arriving i had read the extensive list of facilties that the property has but the one item I had noticed that wasn't on that list was a cool box. On mentioning this to Mike (the owner) he very kindly organised for Ulf the property manager to arrange one for our arrival.This villa lacks nothing ! It is a proper home from home with every facility you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The wifi speed is the best that I have ever encountered in a private rental. It proved extremely useful in the evening when my children were able to seamlessly stream videos on their tablets. The piped music system was excellent. We connected our ipad in the living room and could choose to listen to music in every room or individual rooms depending on our requirements. We also made use of the BBQ on the terrace which came supplied with charcoal and fire lighters. The property had just been painted prior to our arrival and during the course of the our stay we witnessed the painters at other adjacent properties. The whole Golfemar complex is immaculately maintained. The garden and lawns were beautifully manicured and the grass around the pool was cut during our stay. Though I must say that this was either done late at night or first thing in the morning as we never witnessed it being cut. The pool area is one of the nicest we have ever seen. As previous guests have commentated the whole complex is extremely quiet and even during July we were quite often the only ones making use of the pool. The situation of the property is ideal as it is within a few minutes walk of the superb Lighthouse restaurant and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Carvoeiro.The only slight issue to arise during our entire stay was one morning when the electricity went off. I rang Ulf straight away and within 10 minutes he was at the door. He got the electricity on immediately and found out that the problem lay with a faulty kettle. Within a short space of time he returned with a brand new kettle and after that we never had any other issues.This gave us great peace of mind knowing that there was always someone on hand to resolve any problems we might have. Both Mike and Ulf were easily contactable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends and family and would hope to return in the future. A big thank you once again to Mike and Ulf for all your help.

Красивая вилла на трех уровнях, декорированная со вкусом, с прекрасными террасами. Большая кухня, оборудованная всем необходимым. Красивая посуда. Рядом чистый, ухоженный бассейн с лежаками. Особенно хочется поблагодарить Ульфа за его готовность помочь в любой ситуации. Наши чемоданы мы получили с задержкой на неделю и Ульф сразу посоветовал нам адреса магазинов, где мы недорого смогли купить всё необходимое на первое время. Мы прекрасно отдохнули и остались очень довольны.

Le gîte est merveilleux. Rien ne manque. Nous n'avons jamais rencontré Ulf mais il a toujours été disponible par WhatsApp et très réactif pour répondre à nos questions.Bien qu'il y ait des travaux à proximité, ceux-ci ne dérangent pas vraiment.Côté situation, on est au calme et très bien situé pour découvrir la région, et surtout la vallée des 7 passerelles qui offre un panorama à couper le souffle.Côté restaurant, le Casa Algarvia est très bien, très accueillant et une cataplana à tomber. Les prix de la carte ne sont pas excessifs

Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und gut ausgestattet. Im Haus haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Auf 3 Etagen befinden sich die Zimmer:Untergeschoss: 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder, Zugang zum GartenErdgeschoss: Küche, Wohn-Esszimmer, WC, TerrasseObergeschoss: SonnenterrasseIn der Nähe gibt es auch wirklich gute Restaurants und wir haben unsere Wanderungen an den Klippen sehr genossen. Auch sind wir gerne abends in der Anlage Golfemar noch gelaufen.Sehr gute und nette Kommunikation mit dem englischen Vermieter und dem deutschen Betreuer vor Ort.ABER:In der Nähe war eine laute Baustelle, die in der deutschen Beschreibung der Villa bei FEWO nicht genannt wurde. Daraufhin haben wir unseren sehr netten, englischen Gastgeber angeschrieben und haben uns beschwert, aber er hat uns gezeigt, dass er in der englischen Beschreibung der Villa bei VRBO (die englische Muttergesellschaft von FEWO) die Baustelle beschrieben hat. FEWO hat also die Bemerkungen bezgl. der Baustelle in der deutschen Beschreibung weggelassen!! Wir fühlen uns sehr getäuscht und hintergangen von FEWO und diese Vorgehensweise entspricht nicht der fairen und korrekten Beschreibung eines Ferienobjektes!!Wir fühlen uns wirklich sehr hintergangen von FEWO und werden uns noch förmlich beschweren. Dem Vermieter kann man nichts vorwerfen, da dieser die Baustelle klar kommuniziert hat.

Ein längerer Urlaub in der Algarve (Carvoeiro)

Es hat alles prima geklappt, von der Buchung, Bezahlung, Kontaktaufnahme mit Besitzer, Schlüsselübergabe, Pflege der Unterkunft sowie letzt endlich der Urlaub der trotzt manchen verregneten Tagen sehr angenehm war. Auch bei kälteren Tagen konnten wir das Haus warm halten mit den zur Verfügung stehen Mitteln. (Klimaanlage zum Heizen, Elektroheizer sowie Pelletofen) Der Putzdienst hat auch gut funktioniert. Die Pfannen zum Kochen sollten aber mal ausgetauscht werden. Eine entstandene Wasserundichtigkeit wurde sofort und sauber repariert. Fernseher und WLAN waren ok. Sehr gute Lage direkt am Golfplatz. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft mit ruhigem Gewissen weiter.

Great stay, beautiful villa!

We had a great stay at the villa, it's beautiful, large, clean and equipped with everything you (might) need. The swimming pool is a 2 minute walk away. The surrounding area of the house is beautiful, quiet with nice houses, restaurants, beaches and nature. Michael is a dedicated host he kept us informed about the house, the area and everything we needed to know, before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend! Michael and Ulf thank you!

Wonderful place for an extended stay

The place was comfortable and clean and in a great location. The decks and outdoor spaces were fantastic and we had everything we needed. The property manager took care of a small issue immediately and was kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Zeer vlot en goed contact met de eigenaar Michael. Je wordt ter plaatse verwelkomd en wegwijs gemaakt. Het huis is volledig uitgerust en wordt wekelijks schoongemaakt. Er is een housekeeper ter plaatse die de nodige voorzieningen treft of aanvult en bij vragen altijd beschikbaar is. Zo werd ons gratis een Google chromecast bezorgd zodat we de thuiszenders via streaming konden bekijken. Alle lof voor dit alles.

Wohlfühlen trotz nasskaltem Wetter

Die Villa liegt sehr günstig für Ausflüge zur Erkundung der Algarve und hat alles, was man braucht. Selbst zu Fuß steht man in 15 Minuten direkt an der atemberaubenden Steilküste. Die Ausstattung in der Küche, im Garten und den beiden Terrassen ist hervorragend, auch die Matratzen sind Spitze, wir haben super geschlafen. Leider war das Wetter in der ersten Woche sehr schlecht (sogar mit Hagel (!), was es laut Ulf, der guten Seele der Hausverwaltung in den letzten 15 Jahren nicht gegeben hat). Wir waren zwar auch im unbeheizten Gemeinschafts-Pool, aber nur immer ganz kurz nach dem Joggen... Das Meer wäre deutlich wärmer gewesen, aber durch das schlechte Wetter wegen der unruhigen See nicht zugänglich. Ganz toll und gemütlich war der Pelletofen im Wohnbereich, den wir aufgrund der Temperaturen auch wirklich gebraucht haben. Fazit: selbst bei schlechtem Wetter ist diese Villa eine Reise wert!

The Villa was every bit as good as described, and close to several dreamscape beaches, which were all just a 10 minute car ride away. The pool area is excelent, with its peppermint scented grass.

Wunderschöne, ruhige Wohnung

Die sehr geräumige Wohnung über 2 (mit Dachterrasse 3) Etagen ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie verfügt über einen Kaminofen, der per Fernbedienung ein–und ausgeschaltet werden kann, was bei unserem Besuch im November abends notwendig war. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten und insgesamt 3 Terrassen. Sie liegt sehr ruhig direkt an einem Golfplatz. Den Swimmingpool der Anlage keine Note man auch nutzen. Wir haben uns dort 8 Tage außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. Die Informationen des Besitzers waren ausführlich und hilfreich. Ein Verwalter war jederzeit zu erreichen und stand uns stets freundlich und zuverlässig zur Seite, wenn notwendig. Das Quartier ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Hi. We are a young couple living in the UK and are lucky to have a fabulous house to rent in a beautiful part of the Algarve. We visit as often as we can with our daughter. She absolutely loves the house and especially the swimming pool! I am the Secretary of a Golf Club and my wife works for a software company. We live on the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border and whilst I was born about 3 miles from my current home my wife is from the West Coast of America and about 8000 miles from home! We are a friendly, easy-going family who enjoy our trips to the Algarve!

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting Carvoeiro for a number of years and love the area.
We chose our property as it is on a private residential estate, has no passing traffic and is in a very safe area.
All of the gardens are maintained to a very high standard and the private pool is extremely quiet and always immaculately clean and tidy.
The location is near enough to Carvoeiro centre but far enough away to ensure lots of tranquillity.
Most of the residents are ex-pats who have lived on Golfemar for many years.
The clinching factors for us were the roof terrace and the rooftop bar less than 5 minutes walk away!

What makes this property unique

The house has not been rented by any previous owners and is in immaculate condition. It is fully furnished and has a very well equipped kitchen.
It has a terrace from the bedroom, a balcony on the first floor and a roof terrace.
The roof terrace is not south facing, which is essential as it is not too hot!
It has a 46 inch TV, wi-fi access and full air conditioning.
The house has a garden and over the hedge is the 4th tee of the local golf course.
The town centre and supermarket is 5 minutes away and taxi's are not expensive at all.
