Trullo & Villa Fumarola is an amazing property with two houses and extra-large private pool. Peaceful Location in the idyllic Itria Valley in the heart of Puglia, 30 Minutes Drive to the coast: This is a wonderful place all year round which offers lots of things to do. Ideal for two or three families or a group of friends. The two houses are detached and completely self-sufficient, yet within close reach of one another. Large garden with lawn and 10 x 10 mt-pool with generous surrounding area and dining table. There is also a large dining table by the pool which is shared. Each house has its own outside dining area and barbecue. We are confident we can recommend this property to anyone, including families with small children (our own kids grew up here). The property is a tranquil, safe and child-friendly environment, the pool is protected by a fence. The garden has a great variety of fruit and olive trees, some hundreds of years old. The whole plot measures about one hectare. There are many attractions in the area: Lots of little towns with wonderful historical centres, Unesco heritage sites like Alberobello (just 15 minutes by car) and Matera, Lecce with its amazing baroque, lots of beaches on both coasts, countless typical restaurants for all budgets...Upon arrival you will find your complimentary Welcome Kit with useful information about the area, such as restaurants, places to see, things to do etc. We have spent so much time exploring this enchanting area and love sharing our findings and insight with our guests. It is our absolute priority to make out guests' vacation here a truly special one. The houses are self-catering and accepting our guests' privacy is paramount. But in case you would like our help with anything at all, we will be more than happy to assist. Whether it's tips for restaurants, horseback riding for all levels, discovering the countryside by bike, picking your favorite beach out of hundreds of miles of coastline, exploring the before mentioned amazing towns and villages, learning all about local wines, olive oil and other local specialties...we could go on and on...Fact is you are spoilt for choice here and one vacation won't be enough to take it all in, so we will be delighted to help make your vacation in Puglia truly special. - Separate household waste to help recycle as much as possible. Just follow our simple tips which you will find upon arrival.

Most of our detergents are organic and sourced from a tap refill store in Martina Franca.
Our tap water is of good drinking quality (regularly tested). So no need to buy plastic bottles.

Ina was an excellent host right from the time of booking through to when we sadly had to leave. A beautiful property with everything we needed to enjoy our week away with the family. Beautiful property and excellent hosts

We had a lovely week in this trullo and casa, perfectly positioned to explore this beautiful part of Puglia. The property is surrounded by a beautiful great natural space and a lovely safe swimming pool, perfect for small children. Breakfast under a vine by the pool was particularly lovely! Their recommendations for local sights and restaurants was spot on! We had lovely food. I cannot thank Ina enough. It was super easy to communicate with her prior and during our stay,.nothing was a problem. We will definitely return!! We highly recommend this property!

Fantastic villa.

The villa and the trullo were both fabulous. It accommodated our party of 9 very comfortably. Ina and Sandro were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries we had. The setting is amazing and we all fell in love with the three local towns of Martina Franca, Locorotondo and the stunning trullo town of Alberobello. We were also able to visit Lecce and Matera which were both stunning. The coast was easy to reach too and the beaches are lovely. We didn’t need to do this much as the pool at the villa is large and we made full use of it. We can highly recommend this villa to large groups of family or friends.

Family vacation in Puglia

The villa and trullo were a perfect set up for our family. Ina, our host was always very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. She was kind enough to bring additional bedding and towels when requested. The villa was located not far from several charming towns, though the country roads in the area were more challenging to drive than we are used to. Unfortunately the weather wasn't ideal so we were not able to take advantage of the pool. I would recommend having boardgames available for larger groups (more than 2 people) for those rainy and quieter nights in. As well as update the kitchen cupboards/drawers with handles to make them easier to open/close. Overall the stay was very comfortable, the villa lovely, enjoyable and recommended.

Met ons gezin, 6 volwassenen en 4 kinderen hebben we een heerlijke week gehad. Een prachtige trullo en een mooie villa, waar het goed toeven was. Complete en sfeervolle inrichting, fijn zwembad, veel ruimte binnen en buiten. En we hadden het geluk dat het elke dag zonnig was, dat was nog een extra. Complimenten voor Ina en Sandro, het ontbrak ons nergens aan. Een absolute aanrader !

Fantastische accommodatie

Enorm genoten met ons gezin in de Trulli en de villa. Ina en Sandro zijn super gastvrij en snel bereikbaar als je vragen hebt. Voor de kinderen schommel, glijbaan en heel veel speelgoed. Het zwembad was ook heerlijk en supergroot. Het enige wat ik heb gemist is een lekkere loungeset om lekker in de avond buiten te kunnen zitten als de kindjes slapen. De ligging is ook super, Alberobello, Locorotondo en Martina Franca binnen paar minuten te bereiken. Wij kunnen deze accomodatie zeker aanbevelen.

Great house and very nice hosts

The place is fantastic, the garden/park is huge, the two houses make it very flexible, and the swimming pool is bigger (although shallower) than on the pictures. It is also conveniently located to visit all the great villages around. The hosts are extremely nice, relaxed and very attentive. The internet connection was bad the first day, and the next day first thing in the morning a technician was there to fix it. Definitely a great place to stay if you plant to visit this beautiful region.

A magical place to celebrate with family

We just had the great fortune to stay at the beautiful oasis of Trullo Fumarola with 12 of our extended family, who gathered there to celebrate a renewal of our wedding vows. We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts, Ina and Sandro, were so helpful in the lead up to, and during, our stay. Ina helped arrange a special catered meal of delicious local, homemade dishes and a fun band to serenade us with traditional song and dance. There was plenty of space at the property for 12 of us. It is beautifully laid out, fully equiped, and it was nice to have the pool there. We also enjoyed all the fresh fruit such as persimmons and pomogranates. There are beautiful places to visit nearby including pictureque historic towns and lovely beaches. We highly recommend this property. Ina and Sandro were very accomodating and fair in their dealings with us. Many thanks to you both.

Fabulous family get together in a magical setting

Great location to visit Puglia's biggest attractions

We spent our vacation in Trullo Fumarola in 4 families and, despite bad weather during 1st 3 days, we enjoyed it very much. The house and trullo are comfortable, big enough to easily host 8-10 people . They are also well equipped and swimming pool is bigger that similar ones in other rented houses. Location enabled us to frequently visit Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello (and Lecce and Matera) , so we were able to see majority of attractions without extensive trave. Hosts are friendly, respond fast to any request and share lots of practical tips about the region. I highly recommend this location and hosts.

2 belles maisons dont une qui est un Trullo ( maison caractéristique de la région. Les photos du site sont très fidèles à la réalité. Une superbe piscine dans une belle et grande propriété . Le site est très calme et extrêmement bien situé , car est au centre de tous les sites à visiter . Un accueil charmant des propriétaires qui ont été très arrangeants puisqu’ils nous ont laissé l’une des maisons toute la matinée le jour de notre départ alors que normalement nous aurions dû partir à 9h30 Ina parle un français presque courant ce qui ne gâche rien. Nous n’avons qu’une envie c’est de revenir....et de recommander la maison à nos amis.

Struttura stupenda, esattamente come mostrato nelle foto e persino meglio dal vivo. Molto pulita, attrezzatissima con tutto il necessario e anche di più. Gli spazi, le camere e i bagni consentono un'occupazione comoda di 10/12 persone. E' situata a metà strada fra Locorotondo e Martina Franca, lontano dalla strada e in piena quiete. I proprietari sono stati gentili e molto disponibili, a disposizione ogni volta che ne abbiamo avuto bisogno. Punteggio alto meritatissimo

Perfect Puglia Escape

Stunning villa in the picturesque countryside of Puglia. Great for two families and great for kids. We swam in the fabulous pool multiple times each day. Ina and Sandro were wonderful hosts, arranging dinners at the property and local wine tasting for us. Very spacious for our group of eleven and a great location for day trips all around Puglia. This is a perfect place for two families. The grounds are beautifully kept with plenty to keep children of all ages busy. The properties themselves are clean and comfortable and very tastefully and sensitively decorated. The facilities are second to none and Ina was a fantastic host, available day and night for all kinds of questions and requests. The area is picturesque and very charming. Overall I would certainly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Fabulous place to stay en famille

We had a fabulous week staying here as two families with small children. Both properties are beautifully designed but also robust for small people. A great space to run around in the garden and the swings and slide a real bonus. Ina and Sandro couldn't have been more helpful in terms of directions, weather, activities, places to eat and coming over straight away when we briefly lost power during an electrical storm and were flexible with arrival and departure times. We could not have had a better stay in late October and would love to return during a different season.

Absolutely fantastic

We travelled as 2 families and the trullo and lamia were perfectly set-up to cater for us all. Everything was really well maintained and functional. The beds were confortable and the whole property was spotless. We loved the chill out lounge room in the lamia, which is where we would all start and finish our days. The master bathroom in the lamia was fabulous. I wish I could have one that beautiful at home. The pool was huge and the gardens well kept. We used both the outdoor eating areas on several occasions during our stay. Ina and Sandro could not have been more helpful. It was like having a consierge service on tap. Nothing was too much bother. They booked us restaurants and masseurs and gave us advice about doctors and hospitals when I got an ear infection. The surrounding countryside is very pretty, but you are only 30 minutes away from the coast. We have stayed in Puglia several times and this has been my favourite property. We can't wait to go back!

My husband, Alessandro, and I have been living in this wonderful area for several years now. Alessandro was born and raised in Martina Franca while I'm originally from Munich (Germany). The Trullo and land have been in Alessandro's family for seven generations (it was build by an ancestor). We have restored it very carefully, focusing on keeping its original features, such as the exposed stone arches and the century-old limestone on the floor. At the same time, we have built a new house on the land which we wanted to blend in with the local architecture without trying to look ancient. We have spent a lot of time exploring this enchanting region and love to share our findings and experience with people who come and visit us.

Our guests love the property's location, because it's tranquil yet quite central and within easy reach of beautiful little towns, coastline and lots of activities.
