About the host

We have owned the property as a holiday home for 3 years, but love the area so much, we have bought a new home just outside Whitby. We can therefore be on hand to ensure excellent customer service.
Why they chose this property
We both love Whitby. The town has a unique character and is attractive all year round.
We both love walking and were attracted by the close proximity of many attractive walks including coastal paths and moorland village walks. The availability of good public transport (trains & buses) makes it easy to enjoy linear walks.
Whitby's skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, high on Whitby's East Cliff. Spreading below Whitby, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside.
Whitby is situated on the Yorkshire Coast. To the south lies the coastal villages and resorts of Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington.
The location of the apartment on Skinner St is ideal as it is only a few minutes walk to the harbour and all amenities.
