Our 6 bedroomed stone built Farmhouse is set in a beautiful idyllic location on the outskirts of Goathland Village, famous for the TV series Heartbeat. With Moor and Goathland Station views the property has a stunning backdrop in all seasons. Private 6 person hot tub. Lots of free parking. Perfectly situated for walkers, road and Mountain bike users, Steam train enthusiasts, Bird watchers or simply those looking for a relaxing country retreat with family or friends. With the Famous seaside town and port of Whitby just 8 miles away, we truly do have the best of both worlds here, countryside and beach holidays all covered. There are weeks worth of entertainment within the area, if you are not planning a relaxing peaceful holiday. From theme parks, to forest trails, to crab fishing and meandering. There is plenty to do if your heart so desires. Strictly 14 + infant maximum occupancy. Sorry no pets. Hen/stag parties please enquire first before requesting to book. As an independent provider we advise all guests to take out their own travel/holiday insurance. My Husband and I bought the Cottage In 2002. The moment we viewed the property we fell in love with it. Hawthorn Cottage is a very special place for us. Goathland is a bustling village, with a variety of amenities and interests to suit all.

Hawthorn cottage Goathland, with it's panoramic views and open countryside surrounding the property is the ideal venue for large gatherings. Private hot tub and a well equipped games room to keep everyone entertained. Nestled on the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors it is close enough to Whitby to enjoy it's charm & character, without incurring additional parking charges during your break or holiday! It's private, peaceful location guarantees a relaxing break for those just wanting to leave the hustle & bustle of everyday life at home.

What makes this property unique

Spacious secluded setting with walks from the door and panoramic views of beautiful Moorland countryside. The Indoor Hot tub is amazing come rain or shine and you have sole use during your stay, with double patio doors enjoy the views whilst relaxing in the bubbles! Our Games room is very popular with our younger and more competitive guests alike. Complete with a pool table, games console & games plus tv & separate sky box. The little ones may also make use of the toys, books, jigsaws and our extensive DVD collection.
