A lovely place to stay
Tides was a very clean, comfortable and well equipped property. Nicely decorated.Situated in well maintained spacious park area . Very dog friendly, short walk to large grassy area where dogs can have a great run around. This is next to the path by the fantastic sandy beach although it disappears at high tide! Great views and walks along the coast. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider returning.

Amazing place for a break with the Dog 🐾
We stayed here with some friends and our 2 dogs in February and it was lovely. We arrived at the site which is in good order and beautifully kept. The accommodation is second to none, clean, tidy and has everything you could possibly need. Lovely and close to the lovely beach which was superb to walk the dogs on. There are several pubs within walking distance which allow dogs and the people are so friendly and welcoming. We shall be returning for another stay very soon hopefully and can totally recommend this lovely place.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay and we'd be delighted to welcome you back another time. It highlights the fact that Rainbows End Park is not just for summer holidays, but can provide a wonderful short break even in the winter months. The beach on our doorstep is a massive pull for all our guests and a coastal walk can be enjoyed whatever the weather!
My family and I had a lovely stay in Tides during the May-June half term week. The property is a short walk to a quiet beach. Our dog particularly loved running around on the sand. With Cromer and other towns nearby, there was lots to do and see.
During our stay the water was unfortunately cut off, which was outside the owners control. The owner kept us informed and handled the situation brilliantly.
Excellent location close to the beach - only downside was the early morning alarm everyday from the 2 cockerels and 3 ducks outside the bedroom window.
The property was clean and tidy and 5mins from the beach . Its quiet . Not much in bacton but there's plenty of walks you can do to other villages. Woull recommend fira short brreak
This was the second time we’ve been to Rainbow’s End mainly because it’s a dog friendly area. The property was well equipped and perfect for our needs. A quiet site with plenty of room for exercising the dog and a lovely beach nearby.
An amazing property in a wonderful location. Very quiet and peaceful but a safe space for children. Very close to a clean beach . Easy access to visit surrounding areas. Everything you need for your stay
Property clean and well equipped. The site was quiet and relaxing. The beach was just a short stroll and dog friendly as were the local pubs. The owner was very helpful during what has been a difficult time for everyone. A thoroughly pleasant break.
Positives : Really happy with cleanliness and standard of property, beach was lovely.
Things to note:
Pot holes in the lane are really bad and should be fixed.
Neighbour suggested that several dogs had been poorly and advised us not to use the main grass in the middle. Our dog was fine, we stuck to the beach.
Everything was perfect and we all had a great time. But was disappointed with the site itself due to the permanent residents they were not very friendly and seemed as if we we’re intruding on the site in some way felt very uncomfortable at times but once off the site it was a perfect stay. As we had dogs we would like to stay where there was a private garden next time.

I’m pleased the holiday was enjoyable and the chalet was perfect; I strive to provide a home from home experience. The chalet is on a peaceful holiday park with a few residents amongst the many holiday homes. Three dogs were left alone in the property, became distressed and were barking for some length of time. This brought about a complaint to the park management from a neighbour who was concerned for the dogs welfare. I had to text the guest to mention this and I suspect is the reason why they felt uncomfortable. Dogs are very welcome as many of my guests bring the dog members of their family, but should not be left alone in the property to avoid upset to all concerned.
Exceeded our expectations. Great location right on the sea front. Very clean chalet Great for the dogs. Will be going back

Property recommended
Tides was very well equipped, clean and comfortable and in great location with access to coastal path and beach a minute walk away. Everywhere is very dog friendly. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning.
It was a lovely surprise to find that we had booked such a lovely cottage. Everything needed was to hand and more. Buckets and spades etc, shops, places to eat and visit, all close to hand. The site was spotless, well cared for, peaceful friendly. The beach was great, clean and very close. We had our granddaughter and our dog. Couldn’t wished for a better few days away.
Tides was soooooo clean and had everything to make your stay feel like home.

About the host
Hosted by Debbie Copas
Tides is a sister property to Beachscape, both based on Rainbows End Park. Enjoy these seaside retreats in a village my family have holidayed in for four generations. I created Norfolk Coastal Holidays as an umbrella for the four properties I now take bookings for. We live a few hours away, but travel to Norfolk regularly throughout the year, to ensure that the properties remain at a high standard and any little problems get ironed out as quickly as we can! Beachscape is identical in layout to Tides and also sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. You can stay in Cromer Flint Cottage, a newly refurbished cottage in the heart of Cromer, a stones throw from the sea. I also take bookings for Bramble Cottage, a beautiful two bed cottage with wood burner in nearby Happisburgh.
Why they chose this property
Bacton is a small unassuming village, but the beauty of it is there is currently no public access to most of the beaches. Therefore it really is like a private oasis of peace and quiet even in the busy summer season. Tides is based on Rainbows End Park, which has no facilities, simply the sea and beach on its doorstep! I have lots more information and photos on my website.
What makes this property unique
Arriving in this part of rural Norfolk, is a little like stepping back in time; life is slower paced, the locals are friendly and you can breathe in beautiful clean sea air! The property is very well placed for exploring much of Norfolk. Travel up and down the coast enjoying the charms of the many seaside villages, take a day boat out and stop for lunch within the Norfolk Broads, or for big city life, take a trip into the beautiful city of Norwich, just 30/40 minutes away. See more information and photos on my website.
