Family-Friendly Beach House in Community with Golf, Tennis, and Kayaking!

Welcome to The Salt Shack...our beautiful open floor plan beach retreat. This three-story home is decorated and furnished in a tasteful mid-century modern/industrial rustic theme...with a beachy twist! The 2016 season was the first time the house was offered as a rental and each rental season the Salt Shack is refreshed with new decorations and amenities. The unique floor plan of this home offers three very private bedrooms, each with its own full bath (two en-suite.)

We have everything you need to enjoy your time in Bethany Beach. Not only is our home a bright, open, beautiful place to relax and enjoy yourself, but we are steps away (literally!) from the pool (indoor and outdoor), playground, gym, fishing ponds, boating/kayaking access, basketball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard, pickleball, driving range, and our own highly-regarded 18-hole golf course. This is an incredible family retreat in a peaceful community at an affordable price!

- 5 min drive to all beaches (Bethany, Tower Beach, Indian River Inlet)
- 5 min to downtown Bethany (boardwalk, restaurants, arcade, small town shopping)
- 20 min to Ocean City MD Beach (large boardwalk, restaurants, deep sea fishing)
- 20 min to Rehoboth Beach (boardwalk, restaurants, outlet shopping mall)

House Features

- Kitchen towels, hand towels, bath towels and beach towels available for use (but will need to be laundered and returned to closets before you leave)
- Comforters, blankets and pillows provided; extra twin sheets available for air mattresses (stored in twin bedroom)
- Bed sheets and pillowcases available for use (but will need to be washed and dried prior to departure)

Salt Pond Community
- Indoor 25-meter heated off-season pool and hot tub (winter), outdoor pools (summer), tennis courts, fitness center, basketball court, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, and playground…all a short walk from the house!
- Fishing ponds located throughout community; canoes, kayaks and small boats can be used on the large “Salt Pond” (not on the smaller fishing pond behind the house) and to the network of canals that connect to the neighboring inlets and, eventually, the ocean!
- Full community access requires purchase of guest pass: $100 for one card gives you 20 "punches", one punch gives one guest access to all facilities for an entire day
- Quietly situated between Fenwick Island / Ocean City (10-15 min South) and Rehoboth (15-20 min North)
- Plenty of tree-lined streets and paths for walking, running or biking
- Full access of all facilities (except golf course) available for renters by purchasing recreation pass ($80 for a pass of 20 “uses”)
- 18-Hole, Par-61 Golf Course with Golf Pro Shop
