The property was clean and in a great location! Damien was super helpful and informative as well as friendly. I stayed there with my two adult sons for a week. We all agreed it was better than a hotel! I highly recommend this property
10/10 experience from start to finish, would definitely recommend to others and we hope to stay here again ourselves. Clean apartment; excellent location near the Waterloo tube stop, grocery stores, the Tate Modern, and the Thames; easy communication and quick response times from host. Host even left us some snacks and drinks for our arrival! We stayed for a week with our 1.5 year old and had a lovely time.
Damien is amazing. So kind and friendly; the flat is centrally located near Waterloo station, but on a private, quiet street that feels miles away from the city. Perfect for a family stay.
Damien was a great host. He welcomed us and showed us around at our arrival and very kindly had some groceries waiting for us. Everything was very smooth and the location was great. We were easily able to get everywhere we wanted to go.
Damien was very helpful and happy to welcome us, give us a tour and helpful hints. Kitchen is very very well supplied - like staying in your own home. Love the induction cooktop! Cooking for the family was so easy as he has all those little things you need on hand and available for use! We felt lucky to be staying in this accommodation close to sightseeing and everything we needed.
Excellent location on quiet street in Southbank, convenient access to all points in London. Best equipped apartment we have had. Damien’s pre-arrival information was comprehensive and helpful. He greeted us on arrival and was responsive to questions throughout our visit.
This was by far the best VRBO experience my family and I have had. Damien was a terrific host, checking in with us throughout our travel to London, and greeting us warmly upon arrival. We were incredibly grateful for this thorough tour of the apartment, and a lovely spread of croissants, fresh fruit, granola and flowers... and milk and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge. The apartment itself is perfectly situated, and easy walk from Waterloo station, and just 2 blocks from the shore of the Thames. We took a daily stroll along the river, down to the London Eye, the Tate Modern, Westminster, fantastic restaurants, entertainment and more. The apartment was clean and lovely, and gave us a wonderful taste of truly living in London. Home away from home. We can't wait to come back, and will tell all our friends!Thank you, Damien!
Our family of four loved Damien's place in the Southbank neighborhood. It resides on a quiet street with easy access to cafes, restaurants, markets, and shops. It's a quick walk to the River Thames, and public transportation options are aplenty. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living spaces were comfortable, and the back patio was lovely. The double bed in the middle bedroom was quite small, not ideal for our two grown daughters. Also, the main bedroom lacks a closet to hang things. Damien was extremely communicative and even left us some goodies to enjoy! Very comfortable, would book again.
Damien was welcoming and helpful getting us acquainted with the flat. He is a gracious host. The flat itself is lovely, and we enjoyed time in the garden even in February. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Underground and connecting trains. We especially loved being able to walk across the Thames to several sights, relishing in the beauty of the city. I would recommend this flat to anyone visiting London.
Excellent location with nearby transport options (walk, bus, tube, train) to all of London's major attractions. Friendly, attentive and generous host and a comfortable well equipped flat. This flat offers everything for a first class stay in central London. Thanks Damien, we look forward to our next stay. K&K, Melbourne
My family of four had a wonderful stay! It was as described and presented. Damien was a caring and gracious host leading up to and during our time in the flat. Location was ideal and what we had hoped - a quaint little street that was central and within walking distance to much of what my family wanted to do and see, but also a very short walk to Waterloo station, which was a great hub for farther transit.
Damian made us feel very welcome. He gave us a comprehensive overview of the property, invited us to use things in the cupboards and a great supply of coffee. The flat was close to Waterloo station whilst at the same time being in a quiet street. An added bonus given we were there new years eve was the protection from the extremely busy foot traffic by being inside the exclusion zone while also being able to see some of the fireworks.
Damien was very helpful and informative on the introduction to the property. Made us feel like welcome guests! Great stay! Property has everything you need for a stay away!
Comfortable accommodation with everything we could need plus more. Everything was well managed from the booking to checkout. All this in a very central (but quiet) location.
This rental was great! Damien the owner was very pleasant to deal with and extremely accommodating. It was perfect for our family of four...very clean and upscale..excellent location in a very cute neighborhood with great access to everything
The flat was perfect for what our family of 4 needed on our London vacation. The location was great, an easy walk to the West End and other popular touristic attractions. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood restaurants too. Damien was very easy to communicate with and he provided great information. We'd be happy to stay here again!
We truly loved our visit. It was the first time we had been to London, and the location of the flat was perfect. Damien was very easy to work with and full of great information! We can’t wait to come back!

I'm a film maker and consultant who has travelled extensively throughout the world both for work and pleasure. Originally from the north of England, I have lived in London for most of my working life.
I can't be without coffee and chocolate and good food and, of course, good company. Africa is a magical continent and always rewards the explorer, Europe is a vast reservoir of beauty and surprises and the Alps are where I try to be as much as possible in winter time - I love skiing!
I live in the very centre of one of the most wonderful cities in the world and feel very privileged to be here whenever I'm not travelling.
