Lovely cottage, great location, great value & helpful owners
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider coming back. Only downside was it was slightly smaller than anticipated and is perhaps too cosy for 4 adults. Perfect for a family of 3
We had a dream time, wonderful winter vibes, snug with the log burner blazing.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The cottage was not as described as it was on 3 floors. The main bedroom was on the top floor, with no light bulbs on the stairs or in the bedroom. The bathroom was on the first (middle) floor. This made using the top floor dangerous.
There were also non working bulbs in the porch making entry dangerous.
Despite reporting these problems no action was taken to rectify them,
The kitchen sink (U bend ) leaked and the kitchen floor was wet and soaked our feet. We put a Pyrex under the U bend to catch the water,
There was no welcome pack, guidance to use facilities and no parking on site.
The cottage was not of the standard of cleanliness or care we would expect and overall we felt very let down.
Everything you need is there. A little snug downstairs but comfortable for 4.
Great location to explore the cotswolds and enough places to eat and drink nearby if you don't want to drive. Even got a cake and some fresh food on arrival .highly recommend.

Ideal for short stay
Property is an excellent place for a couple of days. Would not want to stay much longer as the village does not have many facilities.
Used it as a base for 3 days and it was fine. Small and quaint, I found it challenging being over 6 foot.
You will eat out a lot as the kitchen is tiny.

Rob and I live and work in London. We love the country and so two years ago we decided to buy a cottage in the Cotswolds so we could escape from the hustle and bustle London for long country walks and great pubs!
Why they chose this property
Our cottage is cosy and quaint with loads of original features and wood burning stove. It is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Northleach which is a bit of a gem, with an award winning pub (The Wheat Sheaf Inn), wine bar, cafe and local shop, bakery and butchers.
