The apartment is in the best location in Cadiz right next to the 5 star Parador Hotel Atlantico and Parque Genoves and 100 meters from the emblematic Caleta beach. Quiet, very light and surrounded by the sea on all sides, but still in the historic old town with all its buzzing town life ! This is the best address in Cadiz
Large 4 bedroom apartment with two separate entrances. The fourth bedroom and 2nd bathroom can be closed off internally from the rest of the flat for more privacy if needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Great location that's easily walkable to many local attractions, bars, restaurants, etc. The house was very clean and well-appointed with anything you might need. Our only regret is that we didn't stay a little longer.

Thanks Nell. Yes, Cadiz is an old historic town and the building is from the 1970's. It is a listed, protected monument, for the buildings unique position (the only ones directly on the waterfront) and its iconic structure and status in the city. It housed high ranking officials and their families from that period. The outside of the building you can see in the photos, with lovely communal garden areas, very well maintained by our thriving community of residents. Inside, we have two brand new lifts (for only 15 apartments) and the lobby and public areas are cleaned every week. We live in Amsterdam now and we miss our little piece of paradise enormously!

Nice few days in Cadiz!!

I thought Cádiz was going to be a small beach town, but very impressed with the history. We shared the apartment with 4 friends and enjoyed the spaciousness. One of the bedrooms was through one of the others which was fine for us. Cádiz is very walkable city and the apartment is right on the water with amazing sunsets.

Thanks Lauren, yes Cadiz is truly a Spanish hidden gem. Just to clarify to other guests the 3rd and 4th bedrooms are connected by a lockable and acoustically insulated door. The 4th bedroom (along with its en-suite) also has its own entrance, intended for guests travelling who want more independence. Also with its own access to the kitchen and living room areas.

Ahhh, Cadiz

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this flat! It is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Our host, Matthew, was helpful and accommodating. He made recommendations and answered many questions. The flat is in a wonderful location with beautiful views of the ocean and Cadiz. It is also convenient to many sights in this spectacular little city. We walked for five days and wanted to stay for more. It is the best!

We stayed here for my brother in law’s wedding at Baluarte over the weekend. Great location. Walkable to dinner / hairdresser / church / wedding venue. Incredible views of the city. Property is old but the apartment has been renovated with modern amenities. The layout was a bit awkward - you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. As long as you’re all close family / friends, it works, otherwise it could be too difficult, especially if staying for a longer period of time. Perfect for young children because there are loads of toys for them to enjoy.

Amazing Views, Ideal Old Town Location, Wonderfully Modern Apartment

We spent two wonderful weeks at Matt and family's delightfully modern apartment. We enjoyed the great views of La Caleta beach, walked the city where everywhere in Old Town is no more than 10 minutes walk. The apartment has everything you need for a short or extended stay; well equipped kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms, four bedrooms...one which makes an ideal office from where I worked throughout our stay. Great restaurants are right nearby. We enjoyed El Faro, Casa Manteca, Aquila, and the cafes surrounding the central market. If in Cadiz...this is the place to stay. Furthermore, Cadiz is highly underrated. It's wonderful

Beautiful, modern & clean with great views!

Our family of 5 stayed 5 nights and we all had a wonderful time and very happy we stayed at Matt’s apartment. It’s on the 7th floor so it has amazing views of the beach, ocean and city. There’s an elevator. It’s location is central. Right across the street from a popular beach, which you can see from the main room’s huge windows. Master bedroom has amazing views of the sea and sunset. Easy walking distance to everything. We only used our car once to go to Zahara de los Atunes, small fishing village on the coast, (worth the trip) and Vejer de la Frontera, small village in hills. Make sure you eat at El Jardin Del Califa, delicious and popular Moroccan restaurant. The apartment was immaculately clean with 4 bedrooms, suitable for our family of 5. Each bedroom has shades over windows. The weather was cool enough that we didn’t need the A/C, end of June, beginning of July. There’s a special parking area for your rental car. We didn’t cook much but did buy some staples (cereal, milk, bread & fruit) at the local health food store, which is walking distance. The water is fine to drink from the kitchen sink. We brought our own reusable bottles from home which we carried with us all day. The house supplies beach towels and umbrella. We bought a sheet towel in Cadiz, which everyone uses here to lay on. Worth the 10 euros. Beds were comfortable, more firm than soft. Bedding was comfortable, only slept with top sheet. Check-in was smooth and Matt was available via What’s App for any questions or suggestions on anything. We never visited the “new” part of town but thoroughly enjoyed the local feel of the old part of town we stayed at. The best was roaming the city and getting lost. Discovering small cafes, shops and cathedrals. Night life starts around 1am or later. There are plenty of nightclubs. A must see is Marcado Central. Go in the morning, closes at 1pm or 2pm. Has fruit stands, fish, meat, cheese, tapas, everything. Best bread stand is, Pan de Aida. Mostly organic and offers vegan tortas (sweet cake). Our favorite restaurants we all enjoyed: *Ultramar & Nos (modern twist on tapas). *Candelaria (Aithentic Italian Food, pizza & pasta) *Bolas Helados Artesanos (gelato with some vegan options, all homemade) *Belandro (tapas) *Top Shop Coffee (good açaí bowls, smoothies, fresh juices, coffees and milk alternatives.) We only have positive things to say about Matt and his apartment and our stay in Cadiz. Thank you Matt!

FAMILY TRIP TO CADIZ

The property is in a great location. Close to the beach and easy walk into Old Town with lots of places to eat and sights to see. Layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for our group with two adult couples, one 12 year old, and one 15 year old. We liked the clean modern feel of the flat. The check in process was no problem. Owner very helpful and prompt to respond. He had a local person meet us for check in and show us the flat. When we decided to rent a car the owner had someone local come bring us the fob to be able to park the car in a closed parking lot attached to the apartment complex. We would definitely stay here again if we get to come back to Cadiz!

Clean and comfy in Cadiz

We were fortunate to be in Cadiz for warm weather (we swam at the beach directly next to the apartment, which was beautiful and easy). We were also there for Carnival so it was fun to see everyone dressed up and the shows, we felt that energy alive. Cadiz is a beautiful gem of a city. The apartment was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed when we cooked in one evening (grocery store steps from the place) but we also ate out often and the food at both Bar Nono and at the Mercardo were scrumptious. Thank you Matt and Cherry for a well rested and quiet and comfortable stay.

I am a classical musician, have traveled the world with The London Philharmonic orchestra and live in Cadiz with my dutch wife. We fell in love with Spain and each other, and as you can see we now have two children born and raised on the streets and beaches of this wonderful, ancient town !
We saw many apartments before we decided on our little bit of paradise ( I am very particular about where I like to live). The old Cadiz houses are beautiful, but did not have the light, space and peace we were after. The light is very special here on this coast and coming from the north we wanted the sunrise and sunset to be inside our living space every day and from all sides (every room is exterior). Coming from London I had never lived on a 7th floor, but its fantastic to be high up and the views over the city and water are breathtaking ( we really never stop appreciating our luck! ) We are very interested in traveling and are real foodies. Always entertaining visits from friends and family and sharing our extensive knowledge of the area and all its hidden secrets.... Come and enjoy our lovely space in the best position in the old town. We speak fluent Spanish, English and Dutch and are looking forward to sharing our special home and helping make your visit unforgettable !

Floating above the old city on the 7th floor you can see the sea, cathedral, the new bridge and many other landmarks. The views truly are spectacular and the whole flat is bathed in Cadiz's special light.

Located in an area with a great selection of restaurants and bars, close to public transportation and with many stores and supermarkets nearby. It has been very recently completely renovated with a very fresh, modern and simple style. Here's a list of of things we provide to our guests: - Garage (with electronic gated security) - 2 Elevators - Bedroom 1: single bed (90 x 200 cms) - Bedroom 2: 2 bunk beds (90 x 200 cms) and comfortable for adults ! - Bedroom 3: King size double bed (160 x 200 cms) - Bedroom 4: King size double bed (160 x 200 cms) - All mattresses are new and premium quality - Fresh linen and towels are provided - Air conditioning and central heating in every room ⁃ 48” LCD screen TV (cable TV with over 500 channels) - Good Wifi connection (with two separate signals) ⁃ A very modern and spacious Porcelanosa kitchen with brand new modern appliances such as large fridge and freezer, oven and microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso maker, orange juicer, kettle along with extensive cooking utensils. Luxurious bathrooms with bath and shower Towels (and beach towels) toilet paper, soap, hand wash and hair dryer are all provided - Iron (and ironing board) - Complimentary tea bags and ground coffee, plus basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and spices.
