This beautifully designed apartment is part of authentic Mediterranean stone house, literally 20 steps away from the sea. Our holiday apartment is matchless for giving you that 'home away from home' feeling. It is comfortable, modern and spacious, with plenty of natural light and stunning sea-views.
The apartment is comfortable for 4 persons. It has bedroom with 2 single beds, common space with double sofa and TV area, fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 4. Private bathroom is with shower. Living room opens to a furnished balcony with beautiful views of the sea and surrounding area.
Bigova is perfectly situated for exploring Montenegro. Gorgeous view and charming Bigovo sunsets that you can watch sitting by the sea will make your stay unforgettable.
Once exclusively a fishing village, today Bigova represents the popular tourist destination of the Montenegrin coast, which, despite the development of modern tourism, managed to preserve the former spirit of the Mediterranean.
The Bay of Trašte, in which Bigova is located, due to its characteristics and shelter, is an ideal place for exploring the depths of the sea. Walking around the surrounding hills will give you special enjoyment in clear air and unforgettable views of the sea and the surrounding area.

De ligging aan de kleine baai is super, voor ons kon het niet beter. Het uitzicht, de rust, het prachtige water aan de trappen van het huis, de vissersbootjes en de prachtige plezierboten die even aanmeren. Het kleine dorpje is nog vrij van massatoerisme alhoewel er volop vakantieverblijven gebouwd worden. Hopelijk stoppen ze daar tijdig mee vooraleer de rust, de natuurpracht en de authenticiteit verloren gaan. Het appartement was heel netjes. De ontvangst kon beter, de eigenaar kon pas een dag later langskomen, we hadden toch een aantal bemerkingen .Het was er snikheet want de airco lag niet aan. Meerdere lichtpunten waren defect en dus een sombere aanblik. Geen parasol beschikbaar ondanks de hitte. Allerlei praktische vragen die niet onmiddellijk beanwoord konden worden. De eigenaar was echter van goede wil, kwam dan toch en regelde een aantal zaken. Armoedig kookmateriaal en dus zelf koken, hoe eenvoudig ook, was niet evident. Achteraf informeerde de eigenaar regelmatig of alles naar wens verliep, zijn eerdere nonchalance goedmakend. In het dorp is er een resto, bar en kleine winkel met brooddepot en basisproducten. Geen cashpoint. Verder weg zijn er supermarkten en eethuizen met lekkere traditionele gerechten. Cashbetalingen genieten de voorkeur, de bankkaart wordt dikwijls geweigerd. Geldafhaling is een dure grap. Montenegro is een klein maar prachtig land, rondreizen is een must, er is veel meer te ontdekken dan de kustlijn. Een aanrader.
