L'Hirondelle: a pretty gite with pool and lovely gardens

Git​es dans les Champs, situated in beautiful countryside in Poitou-Charentes, offers three spacious gites of a very high standard. The gites can be rented individually or as a group, sleeping up to 20.

Ideally located for walking, cycling, kayaking and horse riding.  With a fenced swimming pool and sun terrace, set in three acres of private parkland.  

L'Hirondelle, sleeping 8, a characterful gite, approached via a wide path from the car park, has a feeling of spaciousness as you enter through large French doors into an atrium which rises from a tiled floor with decorative frieze up to exposed original roof timbers and a galleried landing. The spacious open plan living area comprises kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge. The kitchen is generously equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, , microwave and gas cooker. All rooms are fitted with electric heaters. French TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs are available for guests. A cot and high chair are available upon request. A washing machine is available on site.

Outside the garden area has its own barbecue, table and chairs for those al fresco meals, and a patio alongside the courtyard.
