The accommodation, fully equipped is perfect for you to spend a quiet holiday and discover the essence of Mallorca. The house is decorated with great taste and is spacious and bright. But without doubt, the most spectacular of this holiday home is the large terrace with views of the Serra de Tramuntana, a world heritage site.



Fornalutx is one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca. It is located at the top of the Serra de Tramuntana and is made up of stone buildings and cobblestone streets, in an attempt to maintain the traditional charm that characterizes it. Far from tourist crowds, in the center you will find some supermarkets, restaurants and small shops. But without a doubt, the most spectacular thing of the town is this in itself: walking through the narrow streets and admiring the traditional architecture is a luxury. In addition, its excellent location makes it an ideal place for nature lovers, since it is very close to hiking and biking trails in the Serra de Tramuntana. In addition, the nearest beach is only 7 kilometers away. On the other hand, the neighboring towns of Sóller, Deià or Valldemossa are a must.

Excellent in all regards!

Great location with outstanding views of the valley and mountains. Lovely property, well-appointed and attractively furnished. Very well-equipped with thoughtful touches everywhere, including basic provisions. Beautiful village with good restaurants and bars, yet a quiet location. Our sixth visit to Fornalutx and we shall certainly return to this property.

Alles da, alles super sauber. Die dachterasse und der Ausblick Der Hammer. Wir empfehlen ein kleines Auto die Straßen sind sehr eng. Wir hatten wine tolle Zeit u d nichts zu bemängeln.

Wunderschönes Fornalutx

Wir hatten bisher noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, sehr viele Artikel des täglichen Lebens waren vorhanden. Die Terasse ist ein Traum mit genialen Blick.Relativ ruhig gelegen und doch zentral. Der Spaziergang zum Bäcker und Supermarkt am Morgen war auch schon ein Genuss. Abends noch Essen oder Trinken am Marktplatz, ein rundum sehr entspannter Urlaub liegt hinter uns, sehr zu empfehlen.

Nur wenige Meter von Plaza, Bars und Lebensmittelgeschäft und doch in absolut ruhiger Lage mit traumhaftem Blick auf das Tal von Soller und die es umschließende Bergwelt. Garage fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Umfassende Ausstattung von Föhn über Bügeleisen bis hin zu Saftpresse und Espressomaschine.

Enjoyable stay

We have been visiting Mallorca at Christmastime for many years staying in various rentals. This property was spotless and we much appreciated the extra considerations such as the supply of toiletries, decent quality toilet paper and all the little extras for the kitchen which saved us having to buy basic supplies when we would only use a small amount. Thoughtful hosts.

Perfect house with roof terrace, stunning views in picturesque village

We have had a wonderful two weeks at Cas Decu. The traditional property is very light and airy and immaculately fitted with good quality furnishings. Lots of lovely extras, milk, water, beer and large box of fresh oranges on arrival, books, games, sewing box, coffee machine, electric juicer which we used daily for the generous supply of delicious oranges. Hair dryer and mini straighteners, plenty of extra bed linen, towels and beach towels. The house is located in residential area of the village, only accessible on foot - quiet and secluded. Parking in the village is on ticket system or in a (pay in the day) car park. There is garage for the property few hundred yards away, would recommend small to medium hire car, as village streets very narrow, the garage is challenging, however, with practice, we managed to get an suv hire car in. The fantastic roof terrace is accessed by steepish flight of steps from within house, which may not be suitable for those with restricted mobility. We spent many hours relaxing, dining and enjoying the stunning views from the terrace. We enjoyed many walks from the house including Soller and Biniarix. We ate at, and would recommend, the many restaurants on the main road into Fornalutx. Booking is a good idea if you wish to eat outside and savour the beautiful scenery. We would recommend Cas Decu if you want a relaxing and peaceful holiday, the bird song is wonderful. The village is a delight, narrow cobbled streets filled with potted plants and the square has cafes and restaurants and a mini store which sells most things needed for self catering.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Fornalutx sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war extrem sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, mehrere Kopfkissen und Decken sind vorhanden. Sogar für die Terrasse waren Kuscheldecken vorrätig (was abends auch notwendig war). Die Küche war komplett ausgestattet. Die Terrasse bietet einen wirklich tollen Ausblick auf die Berge. Die Treppe zur Terrasse ist ein wenig steil und bei Regen / Feuchtigkeit kann sie schnell ein bisschen gefährlich werden, da sie sehr rutschig wird. Die Eingangstür kann leider nur mit dem Schlüssel von innen verschlossen werden. Das hat Nachteile, wenn eine Wandergruppe früh am Morgen los möchte, da die Tür dann von außen einfach mit einer Klinke zu öffnen ist oder jemand anderes aufstehen muss, um die Tür wieder zu verschließen. Vielleicht einen zweiten Schlüssel???? Angrenzend zum Schlafzimmer mit dem Doppelbett befand sich das eine Badezimmer. "Leider" gibt es keine Tür zwischen Schlaf- und Badezimmer...., ist Geschmackssache, würde ich sagen. Meine Eltern, die recht häufig auch mal nachts auf die Toilette müssen, waren nicht so sehr davon angetan :-) Ein kleiner Mülleimer in den Badezimmern wäre schön. Zu dem Haus gibt es eine Garage in der Nähe, was sehr hilfreich sein kann, da das Parken in Fornalutx recht abenteuerlich sein kann und auch teuer. Man sollte aber ein guter Autofahrer, mit wenig Angst sein, um diese Garage zu nutzen :-) Ansonsten gibt es einen kostenlosen Parkplatz, ganz "oben" im Ort. Die oben genannten Punkte sollen keine wirklichen Kritikpunkte sein. Wir würden diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten!
