Less than 1 mile from Tweedbank station & The Borders Railway Stables cottage offers excellent connections by train to Edinburgh and is ideally placed in the town of Melrose with is wide range of attractions, restaurants and high quality shops.
Saddlery cottage is a stone built south-facing detached cottage with private parking, patio, garden furniture, BBQ and gardens. It has a large dining kitchen seating 6 with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, hob etc. It also features an ornamental Victorian cooking range. The lounge features high quality leather sofas and a large modern flat-screen digital TV with Blueray player. All terrestrial, Freeview and Sky channels provided. Free high-speed SKY broadband available throughout the cottage.
Upstairs are a master bed-room with king sized bed and a family bedroom with a double and single bed. A modern bathroom with large walk-in shower.
The cottage is fully centrally heated and double glazed. All main rooms feature beamed ceilings. It enjoys a Visit Scotland Four Star grading and is decorated, equipped and furnished to a very high standard.

Saddlery cottage is a stunning property sitting in two acres of idyllic landscaped gardens. It is a traditional stone built cottage dating from 1860 which has been modernised an equipped to a very high standard.
The cottage is only a short distance from the centre of the lovely town of Melrose with its wide range of high quality, shops, restaurants and bistros.
The cottage offers the best of both worlds enjoying a very private south-facing location looking over our gardens to the Eildon Hills but is within very easy reach of a wide range of local tourist attractions and services.
Tweedbank station and The Borders railway is less that 1 mile away and provides direct and frequent train access to central Edinburgh with all its attractions.
