Beautiful villa with private pool, it has 3 bedrooms (1 with double bed and two with two single beds each, If you were 7 persons complimentary extra bed), living room with fireplace, air conditioning and satellite TV, garage, terrace, large BBQ with garden chairs and table, covered terrace and fenced plot. Free Internet access (Wi-Fi).

In Jalon (Spanish name) or Xaló (Valencian name) life goes on in a peaceful, although it is located just 15 minutes drive from the hustle and Calpe coast and between 20 and 30 minutes from the coast Javea, Moraira , Denia and Altea.

The house is located very near the edge of town, so you can walk quietly.

The Jalon valley surrounded by majestic mountains, it is also known as the valley of wine. In the center of this valley is the town of Jalon set among vineyards, almond and orange.

The house is also available in winter, has underfloor heating with wood-burning fireplace. In winter you can take advantage of many sunny days hiking with the main route Bernia, with stunning views. If traveling in February you can enjoy views of the almond bloom.

One Month Stay

Great property for having our dogs with us, they could run freely and safely in the garden. Living room and main bedroom good size. Raul's father made sure everything was okay for us, very kind, and supplied us with lots of oranges. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Villa, Wonderful time away!

The check in process was extremely easy & sufficient with excellent communication prior to check in, at the time, during and after! A stunning villa with lovely pool and BBQ area. Very spacious, in fact bigger than we had anticipated. We had to amend our booking unfortunately cutting it short by a day but this was not an issue in the slightest and they more than happy to accommodate our changes without any fees! The village is only a short walk from the villa and having family approx 5 mins away helps too! Ideal location, ideal space & amenities. Cannot give our thanks enough for allowing us to stay and can’t wait to return next year. Would recommend in a heartbeat! Thank you again.

A welcome break

The property was pretty much as it is shown in the photos, we only had 1 issue and it was resolved promptly. The underfloor heating was most welcome. The pool/area was well maintained although due to the time of year we didn't venture in beyond our feet, I'm sure in the heat of the summer it will be most welcome. A school has been built close by but it was not an issue and it wouldn't put us off returning. The garage is huge and we could store our trailer in there and still have plenty of space for our bikes. The area is outstanding and the town has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. We were there with our motorbikes and all I can say is wow, heaven on two wheels with or without an engine. We would hope to return maybe next year.

We had a brilliant stay here (me, my partner and our dog) through Feb this year. Raul was super helpful with check in and any queries we had. The villa was great, just as advertised. The underfloor heating saved us in the colder weather! The villa sits in a large, secure plot which was lovely for our dog. Location for us was brilliant (10 mins walk in to Xalo in one direction and in to the hills in the other). But, as mentioned in previous reviews they have built a new secondary school right next door which might be a consideration for some (the top floor overlooks the yard) The builders were on final fix when we stayed so we can't say how much of an impact it will have on the villa once the school is open (it is the only reason we gave the villa 4 stars not 5 for location) Thanks for all your help Raul, we had such a wonderful trip and we hope to be back!

Excellent accueil, bonne communication avec le gérant, la maison est très propre, spacieuse et bien équipée. Située dans un endroit tranquille, loin des nuisances. Maison climatisée uniquement dans la salle. Il y a des ventilateurs dans les chambres mais cela est un peu insuffisant.

El lugar esta bastante bien, pero la casa por dentro esta muy desmejorada necesita un buen arreglo en la cocina y le faltaba algo de menaje, la valla del chalet esta levantada por un lateral y se nos escapo el perro, echamos en falta algun botiquin y extintor tampoco tenia, en general esta un poco abandonado

La maison avec ses extérieurs sont à rafraîchir. Mais dans l’ensemble c’était agréable. Petit bémol : la Clim est uniquement dans le salon et même en laissant les portes des chambres ouverte ça n’est pas suffisant pour les rafraîchir. a 20 minutes des villes les plus proches sinon le proprietaire est au petit soin de ses locataires ! pas de frais de nettoyage comparé a d'autres location. le proprio reagit dirrectement face a une demande ou autre afin que cela nimpacte pas des frais supplementaires pour les locataires.. genial n'hésitez pas a y passer un sejour

Charming villa close to town with mountain views

This was my second three-month stay in Jalon and I had no hesitation in choosing one of Raul's houses in the village again. I received the same warm and friendly welcome from Raul and his father, Juan, as on my first visit. They are quick to offer advice about local attractions and facilities and quick to resolve any issues that may arise with the accomodation. I cannot speak too highly of them! The house itself is well-appointed and has underfloor heating to keep it cosy and comfortable in the winter months. The village centre itself is just a short stroll away. Jalon is a very friendly town with all of the services you might want on hand if you do not wish to venture far - but you will because there's plenty to see going further inland up the valley, while the coast is only a short drive away. The weather, particularly in November and December, was very pleasant with plenty of sunshine and blue skies and warm enough to sit outside on most days. The pool always looked tempting and is well-maintained, but for polar bears only at this time of year! All in all, highly recommended.

Great vacation - 5/5 would again!

We had a great stay (10 days) in this beautiful villa. The house is clean and well equipped. The pool water was fresh and clean. We had a lot of barbecues in the barbecue area. The kitchen offers everything you could possibly need including toaster, water boiler, coffee machine, a washing machine and a large fridge with integrated freezer. Xalo is a small but beautiful village. The supermarket is very nearby and you can reach several restaurants by foot. Raul and his family are very kind and helpful people. The communication was excellent. I would definitely recommend this villa!
