The house really feels and functions as a home at the beach. It is very thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The pool and hot tub are well designed and maintained and also very private feeling due to the mature “jungle” vegetation. Old Captiva is the best Captiva with everything within a short walk. Couldn’t be better!.

Loved the cupcake house! Short walk to beach with wagon provided. All you need to cook while you’re there. Easy walk to restaurants and stores. Owners easy to contact and very helpful!

Cupcake Review

Cupcake was a magical place to stay enjoyed by 3 generations of my family. Excellent accommodations and easy walkable to beaches, restaurants and shopping. When we return to Captiva, we will definitely want to stay at Cupcake again if available.

Great property great location

We have stayed on Captiva and the Santiva portion of Sanibel many times. This property was perfect for all our needs. Four weeks and have reserved if for winter 2025.

Awesome house in Captiva near village

Our family of 4 enjoyed a week at Cupcake house. The layout was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the beach cart and supplies in the activity closet were great for the short walk to the beach. Great proximity to walk to restaurants in the village. We'll definitely stay here again!

Great house

Excellent set up right in town. Short walk to beach restaurants coffee shops.

Pool is heated and has a great hang out spot with Sonos in house and pool area. Probably the closest thing you'll find to staying in the tropics. We did a few morning trips to local attractions and became beach bums after lunch. RC Otters great food and spot with live music every night.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cupcake. The house was very clean and comfortable in every way. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location was fantastic, easy walk to beach. Loved the pool each day! Thank you for your hospitality, would love to come back!

Perfect vacation house!

We loved the cupcake house! The back deck and pool/spa area were perfection. So many places to relax with privacy. Any kitchen utensil or dish I looked for I was able to find and plenty more. Great location. Cupcake overall feels like a home away from home. Thank you!

Perfect stay in Captiva at Cupcake

Cupcake is Amazing ! My parents, I and my 2 children (11 & 5) had the most perfect spring break swimming in the pool, hanging in the hot tub and relaxing. The house is beautifully decorated and is equipped with anything you could need for your stay. The beach is amazing and just a quick walk away. We had the perfect vacation at cupcake and can not wait to come back !!!!

Best house on captiva

We have rented house on Captiva for 12 years. This housr has everything you need and then some. You literally just need your clothes.

Cosy Perfection

The house is just right for a couple or small family. Bedrooms are nicely separated with the kitchen/family great room in the middle. The screened pool is fully attached to the upper deck and the lower level is the perfect activity area directly connected to the pool and spa.

Perfect little paradise

Reasonably well protected from the storms (knock on wood!) the house is mostly surrounded by taller houses and good vegetation. The pool and hot tub are ideal for small groups and the hot tub overflows into the pool to make it very enjoyable even in January. The colors and furnishings are totally VACATION AT THE BEACH.

Holiday Away!

Our family had the most special time at the Cupcake House celebrating Christmas and a birthday! The house was so well stocked and appointed with everything we could have ever needed! We swam every day in the pool, took the beach chairs down to the beach, had evening meals on the deck … it was more than we could have hoped for. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

We love the Cupcake House!!

The house is absolutely beautiful! The pool and hot tub were perfect! There were outdoor games and a grill. We spent most of our 2 weeks around the pool! The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. Marsha is a wonderful hostess! We will definitely be going back to the perfectly located Cupcake!!

House is so cute. Have fun signs, a pulley bag down to pool to deliver things. Fun touches

House was perfect for us. Having own pool and hot tub was so nice. House is well appointed and fun touches through out. House is surrounded by other houses but was quiet and relaxing. Walk to stores and restaruants.

Life is sweet at Cupcake!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to provide a comfortable and wonderful environment. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the pool area is equipped with everything you would need to hang out and relax. There is a nice bathroom in the pool area, too! There are too many pluses to describe in a short review.This home is very beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The hickory floors throughout are just one beautiful example. We’ve already booked our stay for next year and hope to come for many years!

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing stay in Captiva! We loved everything about the cupcake! It was a short beautiful stroll to the beach, we used bikes to get anywhere we needed, we walked to dinner at the bubble room and Keylime. We came home every night to a beautiful, spacious, clean home. We loved the pool and hot tub. We used them every single day! They have games and everything you need for the beach. If you’re looking for a house that has it all, look no further!!
