The villa is located in the midst of the unspoiled nature of the Ragusa countryside, a few steps from the natural park of Calaforno where a prehistoric hypogeum insists. Ideal for families with children, the villa offers an exclusive swimming pool with over 1000 square meters of lawn and 200 olive and almond trees. The villa is ideally located for daily visits to magnificent locations: Syracuse, Agrigento, Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Noto, Piazza Armerina, Taormina Etna, the places of Commissioner Montalbano. At 35 minutes from the Iblea coast Marina di Ragusa, Punta dry, Donnalucata, Scoglitti. 45 minutes from Vendicari, San Lorenzo, Marzamemi. The villa can accommodate up to six people. Recommended to arrive at Comiso (35 minutes) or Catania (70 min.) Airports. The small village of GIARRATANA 1.5 km away is very characteristic and here you will find everything you need: supermarket, bank, post office, bars, restaurants and pizzerias. The villa is equipped with Wi-Fi and is fully air conditioned. SWIMMING POOL AT THE SALT, NO CHLORINE

Quiet and peacefull Villa

This property is simply amazing, the pictures do not do it justice! We were so sad to leave. The views are stunning, the garden is perfect almost like a golf court! The pool is amazing. Perfect house for families and small kids. The house is equipped with AC in every room. Claudio was very nice helping is out with everything. The house is 5 minutes away from the small town of Giarratana where you can find groceries, supermarkets, pharmacy, etc very convenient. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay and we will definitively come back!

Lovely Villa & Great Owner!

Loved this villa and the pool is fabulous. Claudio and Federico were very attentive when we lost power due to a number of unseasonal thunderstorms. Good local shopping at Ard Discount which is the best convenience store in the local area. For bigger shopping you need to take the 30 minute journey to Ragusa. We used InterSpar which was very good. Wonderful places to visit include the Old Town of Ragusa and Ragusa Ibla, Noto, Caltagirone for pottery. There are so many spectacular hilltop villages in this area and some good driving fun. Be warned that Google Maps sometimes sends you on some very poor roads! Thanks Claudio for a tremendous stay!

We stayed 11 nights at this property as a family with young children (14, 6 and 4 yo). We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and shown around the immaculate and very charming property. The house is very well equipped with a beautiful courtyard to dine alfresco, or catch the morning sun with a cup of tea. The swimming pool was a massive win for the kids, and although too deep for the little ones to stand, wasn’t an issue as they can swim and they loved jumping off the diving board. The owner was exceptionally attentive. We had a slight accident with one child where she bumped her head, the owner provided us with hospital details immediately and checked in on her the days after. They also came around a few times during the stay to check water levels etc at the pool to make sure it was constantly clean. The gardens are very well kept and very private. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet. The small town, Giarratana, just 4 min drive has all the basics, although for a better selection head to Ragusa (about 25 min drive). There’s a gorgeous restaurant 15 minute walk (4 mins in the car) - Locanda Angelica, which is very reasonably priced which also do takeaway pizzas, for more unusual pizzas there’s a cracking spot in town. We had an absolutely amazing time at this property and would definitely go again.

Rural property with exceptional pool

The villa has a large living room/ kitchen and three good size bedrooms set in lovely gardens. The pool is INCREDIBLE! Very deep at one end with a diving board and fabulous seating area within the pool at the other. The villa would be perfect for families/groups seeking a rural location and poolside holiday. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped for simple meals but we were not brave enough to try the pizza oven! The villa is just outside a small town where services did seem a bit limited - a couple of small SPARs, a coffee bar and an untried pizzeria. However, Ragusa is about 30 minutes away with several large supermarkets and good restaurants. It's also well placed to see the sites of Southern Sicily - we visited Syracuse, the Valley of the Temples, Noto etc all while staying here - though you do have to be willing to do a bit of a drive up some steep rural hills. Definitely look it up on google maps before you arrive as the villa itself isn't terribly well signposted from the town and it helps to know what gate you're looking for, but Claudio, the owner, was there when we arrived and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. All in all, a lovely villa; we'd happily recommend it to anyone.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Alles war bestens. Im Oktober kann es in der Region etwas windig sein. Damit war es kühler als erwartet und der wunderschöne Pool täglich eine Herausforderung. Trotzdem würden wir jederzeit wieder kommen. Die Landschaft ist wunderbar und das Haus hat alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt.

Cette maison estivale est parfaite pour des vacances familiales. Tout le confort y est, il ne manque rien. La piscine, très bien imaginée, est d'une taille agréable pour nager, plonger, discuter et s'amuser. Claudio et ses fils vous reçoivent avec gentillesse. Pour parachever le tout, le site est magnifique. N'hésitez pas , allez y!
