This is a light and airy one bedroom apartment on the first floor of a conveniently located apartment block. With easy access to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants and bus station it offers something for everyone.

Torrevieja is set on the Costa Blanca coast, boasting fine sandy beaches, friendly locals and enough water sports to entertain active holiday makers throughout their stay.

The main doorway and clean, spacious hallway are the first parts of the apartment you will see as you approach.

The apartment is second line to Playa del Cura, one of the best beaches in Torrevieja.

The apartment is a traditional gem only 4 minutes walk from the beach. It has a truly Spanish feel and is right in the heart of the town. Close to shops, bars restaurants and markets, it has something for everyone.

There are are traditional panaderias/bakeries and small local shops on the apartment's street and at least 3 big supermarkets near by.

There is an excellent bus station within walking distance of the apartment. Taxis are also readily available outside the bus station and near the Mercadona supermarket. There is another taxi rank close to the harbour. I can also provide phone numbers.

For drivers, there is the fantastic N332 which runs all along the coast to numerous towns. There is also an excellent motorway.

Hire cars are available in Torrevieja or from Alicante airport.

The sophisticated and modern marina is a lovely 15 minutes stroll away along the sea front. It offers a pool, bars, restaurants and boat trips.

There is a funfair and water park on the outskirts of the town along with the ever popular 'Las Habeneras' shopping mall.

For nature lovers, there are flamingos on the salt lakes along with a wide range of other wild life and birds.

The salt lakes are a real 'must see' and you must try the Spanish tradition of covering yourself in the very beneficial mud they create. The Costa Blanca is known for its high quality air which brings huge health benefits.

Für 2 Personen okay.

Die Größenangabe der Unterkunft stimmte nicht. Wir schätzen die Wohnung auf ca. 40 qm. Für 2 Personen noch okay; insgesamt gesehen gut ausgestattet. Das Bett ist einerseits bequem, jedoch mit 140 cm recht schmal. Auch die Küche ist zwar klein, aber sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig. Bei ab und an lauten Nachbarn kann das störend sein. Beim Betreten der Wohnung roch diese nach Rauch und "Hund". Wir bemerkten dann, dass dieser Geruch in der Couch festhängt. Die Couch ist mit Schonern bedeckt. Diese und auch die Bezüge der vorhandenen Sofa-Kissen habe ich bei Ankunft gewaschen, sodass der Geruch im Zimmer "frischer wird". Auf der Couch fanden sich nach Abnahme der Schoner dann Hundehaare. Ein Staubsauger ist in der Wohnung nicht vorhanden. Beschrieben wird, dass Parkplätze vor der Unterkunft vorhanden sind. In der Straße können nur sehr wenig Autos parken, ein Parkplatz ist jetzt in der Hochsaison nur mit viel Glück frei. Ca. 250 m entfernt befindet sich ein öffentliches Parkhaus. Für 75 Euro für 14 Tage kann man hier bequem parken. Die nahegelegenen Strände sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

I felt that I built up a good relationship with Detlef and gave him all the help I could. I explained that I was unsure about the size of the property. It is a standard size one bed apartment. As Detlef said, ' Still okay for 2 people'. I am pleased the apartment was found to be 'overall well equipped and that the bed is comfortable.' It was felt to be narrow but it is a standard double bed. The kitchen is small, but, as stated in the review, 'very well equipped. We didn't miss anything.' I am pleasd that tge apartment wasn't found to be too noisy. It is a quiet building. I cannot understand why the apartment smelt of smoke and dog - they are banned. It gasnt been nentioned by other clients . The apartment is always thoroughly cleaned before and after clients stay there. It is standard practice to cover sofas with throws. A vacuum cleaner is not listed as present in the apartment. I always give details in advance about the parking situation outside the apartment block since it varies with the seasons. I also advise clients of reasonably priced car parks nearby. As stated in the review, 'There is a public car park approx. 250 m away. You can conveniently park here for 75 euros for 14 days.' The location if the property is ideal, as stated in the review,' The nearby beaches are only a few minutes' walk away.'

Bedankt voor je recensie, Ana Maria. Er is altijd een föhn in het appartement, dus ik weet niet zeker wat er deze keer is gebeurd. Heb je in de lades van het dressoir gekeken? Ik zal mijn agent vragen om te onderzoeken of je in die laden hebt gekeken. Ik ben erg blij dat je, anders had een geweldige vakantie. Ik hoop dat we je in de toekomst weer zullen zien.
