Lovely Stay

This is an absolutely perfect stay, right next to Plaza Mayor, great shopping in Puerta del Sol, right near the Sol metro stop which connects to the whole city. Comfortable accommodations and a quirky setup made this a great little stay in Madrid!

Very central location

Very nice appartment in the center of Madrid on a pedestrian street. Located on the last floor of the building the low ceiling and wooden beams give it a certain charm.

Cozy and very unique!

Great little loft apartment with slanted ceilings in the heart of Madrid. Well maintained and clean. On the fifth floor so you will use the lift.

Property was great. Communication with hosts was easy and proactive. The area could not have been any micer. Blocks from everything that you could need. You were surrounded by all of the sights within easy walking distance.

great location

This property was exactly as described. Clean, secured building, in the middle of shopping, and restaurants. Property management was attentive, and communicative throughout our stay. The reason I'm giving an overall rating of 4 is because you will have a hard time getting in and out of bed because the ceilings are very low. We are not tall and we still had to walk hunched over. Other than that, it is a cute place and it is walking distance to many cultural places.

The tried scamming

Upon arrival, the host attempted to force me to pay a second security deposit through a third-party site (buy.stripe.com), outside of Vrbo’s secure payment system. When I refused, I was left outside in the heat with all my luggage, unsure if I would even be allowed in. Only after waiting for hours in 95-degree heat did the host finally let me in.To make matters worse, more than 20 days after check-out, I still have not received my security deposit despite repeated follow-ups.I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this listing entirely, unless you want to be scammed out of your security deposit and treated with complete disregard.

I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment. First, I was charged 50 for a broken seat, which I absolutely did not break. This felt unfair and dishonest.The apartment itself was nothing like the photos. It was very small, and we kept bumping our heads on the low ceiling. The building is old, the apartment wasn’t clean, and it had insect problems. There were even fiber nets and worn-out furniture that made it feel neglected.Overall, I felt the listing was misleading and not worth the money. Definitely would not stay again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Good pictures , but the reality is not even close.

The ceiling is too low, you have very little place to walk straight. The painting is very dirty , and have a lot of humidity in the walls. In the bathroom door , the key is not working and the sliding door is not working, you are not even to close it. Oven is not working and some of the kitchen fires are also not working.The service and checkin and out was smooth, the location is great, but the facility is not worth it to pay this money. I will never go there again.

Расположение отличное для тек кто хочет поселиться в самом центре. Так как это чердак в квартире тихо ночью. Ничто не мешает спать. Низкие потолки. Неудобные кровати, дверь в туалет не закрывается до конца (вполне устранимо для хоста). Вобщем для непритязательных путешественников вполне подойдёт.
