This was such a beautiful and quiet property. The courtyard is stunning at sunset. There was plenty of room and hosts were very helpful. Would highly recommend staying here!
Very good location. Comfortable flat with good amenities. Communication with host was very good and attentive. If you are on the top floor, do be prepared for stairs.
We had a wonderful time staying in the sunny loft. We had no trouble navigating the train and/or bus system to do many cultural, sporting, shopping and arts activities in London.
Great stay. Property was clean and as advertised. Close to the rail lines. Short train ride to downtown London. Excellent! Stay. Friendly host. Would stay again for sure
The location made it easy to catch a train to everywhere we needed to go in London with a very short walk. That was very convenient. The apartment fit our family of four well and had everything we needed for a cozy, comfortable stay. Grocery stores are close by, which we used to buy what we needed for breakfasts to cook at the apartment, saving us some money. Great communication from the hosts as well.
It was a joy. Jean and Ralph, the property managers, were lovely people. I did not have email access so there were problems communicating with Sue, the property owner. In the end it was all resolved.
We loved London, we did not like the flat we stayed in. First of all, it was on the third floor and a lot of steps. Which was not clarified clearly with the booking. Overall, the cleanliness was not to be desired, and it smelled in the hallway. I would not recommend staying in this flat to anyone I know.

I believe that a loft flat description says it is upstairs, to be precise the second floor.
I would have sent a cleaner in to correct anything not acceptable if given the chance but I was not asked even though 2 numbers are given for any issues.
The hall smell I cannot comment on, possible food from another flat (6 in the hallway).
After 27 years of hosting this is a very rare negative review which I would like not to happen at all so your comments are noted.

Affordable stay for small tourist group
My family and I were disappointed in our accommodations. The apartment was too small for our family of 4. There was no air conditioning and we were uncomfortably warm sleeping at night. I thought, looking at the pics and the description, it’d be suitable and not an attic space where we were on top of eachother. It advertised a sauna but it was out of order and there was no hot tub. It’s a bit far from London center and all the sightseeing we wanted to do. We had to Uber everyday which got really expensive. I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 people to stay and you definitely need a car to see any of the sights.

I'm sorry you had an unhappy stay.
I don't advertise air conditioning, London only needs it one week a year.
The photos of the apt do show sloping ceilings so it is obvious the flat is in the loft.
The sauna was out of order due to a guest pouring water into the coals, for this I apologise.
We do not advertise a hot tub, only a swimming pool.
You absolutely do not need a car, we are in zone 3, a 12 minute train ride to the centre. The drive would take over an hour. Why didn't you take the train and tube to sight see? There was a contact number for advice.
With regard to the size of the apt, there are 2 double bedrooms, in 26 years of renting you are the first person to say it's too small for a family of four. Maybe you are used to much larger spaces.
Again I am sorry you did not have a good stay - that is always my intention.

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour à 4. Le logement est bien situé proche des transports en commun et supermarchés. Le logement n'est pas très bien insonorisé et quelques travaux sont à prévoir. Le logement reste spacieux, fonctionnel et la literie est vraiment top. Nous avons également eu de très bons échanges avec la propriétaire.

Es gab alles was man brauchte in dem Appartment um morgens ausgiebig zu frühstücken und zu kochen. Verschiedene Lebensmittelläden befinden sich in der Nähe. Schade dass der Pool nur am nachmittag bis Abend geöffnet war. Da waren wir meistens unterwegs in London. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist sehr gut. Es gab eine schöne grosse Dusche. Wir würden auf jeden Fall noch einmal diese Location buchen.
