The apartment is situated in a historic 13th century dwelling. It is located inside Palazzo Peruzzi and is accessed through Via dei Benci, one of the old town’s main streets. The apartment is on the second floor European (third us) and has been recently refurbished but without altering its main characteristics. The entrance is comprised of a broad living room, with a very high ceiling. The pavement is tiled with original Florentine terracotta. There are 2 comfortable sofas, one of which turns into a bed. There is a 42 "flat screen TV. There is also a beautiful mezzanine in the living room with an artisan hand made wrought iron railing. The mezzanine is occupied by a king size bed, a wardrobe, bedside tables and a chest of drawers. The elegant and comfortable bathroom is by the entrance. Moving past the living room there is a corridor with a very high ceiling and a very functional and roomy walled closet. The corridor gives access to the dining room through a 6 step stone stairway: an original jewel of Florentine craftsmanship. The dining room is ample and is occupied by a large round table for 4 to 6 people. Next to this room there is an independent and fully equipped windowed kitchenette for cuisine lovers.
The style of the apartment is classic and elegant, respectful and coherent with the historical building and context it occupies. It is almost entirely covered with antique and valuable Florentine terracotta tiles. Many of the furniture pieces are typical Tuscan antiques.
