Wonderful holiday cottage, peaceful location with indoor heated swimming pool

Herne is one of three cottages comprising Hendre House Cottages. The cottages are managed by Andy and Michelle Reason who live on site. Andy and Michelle have painstakingly and lovingly renovated the holiday cottages and the indoor swimming pool to a high standard, installed a BBQ cabin, a hot tub/spa and a playground to make Herne Cottage ideal for family breaks and a place you will want to visit again and again!

Herne Cottage is set in a peaceful location close to the Pembrokeshire coast and the famous Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its many sandy beaches (both Whitesands Bay and Newgale beaches are only a short drive away).

The cottage sleeps 4, has a courtyard garden with table and chairs and logstore complete with supplies. On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen (with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave) lounge with log burner, Freeview TV and DVD player and dining area and on the first floor the main bedroom (double bed), second bedroom (bunk beds, full singles), bathroom with full bath and shower. Each of our cottages has free Wi-Fi and are dog friendly.

Fabulous Family Holiday!

Hendre cottages was everything we could have asked for and more. Super clean, very well equipped and cosy. We particularly enjoyed the indoors swimming pool, hot tub and our little boy had fun using the playhouse and swings outside. We live in a very busy city so 2 weeks at this location were a real treat thanks to its tranquility and peacefulness. We had numerous days out and enjoyed the nearby beaches, children’s activities and parks, shopping and delicious welsh pubs and restaurants. Andy and Michelle, the owners have really thought of every little detail to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. We loved every minute. We will definitely be back!

Happy Times

We stayed at Hendre cottages back in May and could not have wished for a cleaner, well stocked placed to stay. The owners Michele and Andrew had thought of everything. On arrival we had flowers , milk, washing powder even down to dog biscuits for our Chihuahua Bear. The swimming pool was a treat and the hot tub relaxing. The area was quiet and secluded with only three stone built cottages. We loved our stay and would love to go back again, if health permits. X

Great place to visit

Beautiful cottage which was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. My son was thrilled with the outdoor space and we loved the hot tub and pool.

Lovely UK break

Gorgeous little cottage in an amazing part of Pembrokeshire. Delightfully quiet but close enough to the local villages if you want to pop in. The facilities were amazing and our hosts were really accomodating. Cannot recommend enough.

Hendre House Cottages are a family run business and the cottages are managed by Andy and Michelle Reason. We live on site, at Hendre House, with our two daughters and our black labs called Jess and Bea. Andy is originally from Neath and fell in love with Pembrokeshire through many summers spent walking the coastal path. We moved to Pembrokeshire in 2014 and spent the first six months renovating the cottages and the indoor swimming pool.
