What makes this property unique
Ground Floor:
Open-plan living area
A stable door leads into the lovely open-plan sitting room/dining area which features painted beams, exposed brick chimney breast with wood burning stove. There is a comfy sofa, wing chair and coffee table with lamp. A window looks out to the front of this charming cottage which has bespoke shutters fitted to the windows. Due to the age and character of the cottage there is restricted head height in the sitting room which measures 1.73m (68").
There is a dining table with four chairs and a wall mounted Smart television with radio and internet.
Open-tread stairs lead to the first floor bedrooms.
Kitchen
A well-equipped galley-style kitchen with shaker style units with oak work surfaces and ceramic sink with mixer tap. Appliances include integrated washer/dryer, slimline dishwasher, fridge with ice box and electric oven and hob with matching cooker hood. There is a microwave and wall-mounted heated towel rail. A window looks onto the front courtyard garden area.
First Floor:
Master bedroom
Vaulted ceiling, exposed chimney breast and beams. Double bed with crisp white bed linen, wall lighting and double wardrobe with drawer space, chest of drawers with lamp, mirror.
Bedroom two
4' double bed with storage under and crisp white bed linen with cosy throw.
Shower room
With an electric shower, wash basin and WC with mirror over and storage, electric heated towel rail.
Outside:
There is a shingle fully-enclosed courtyard area to the front of the cottage, with table and chairs, seating four people making this a great place to enjoy breakfast or al fresco dining.
There is a one parking space to the side of Playson Cottage just opposite Sexton's Yard.
