A characterful, pet friendly cottage in the rural village of Ireby near Bassenthwaite that is near to the Lake District National Park and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Ale Cottage is a pet friendly holiday cottage in Ireby. A cosy traditional cottage that comfortably sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with the one double en-suite and one twin that shares the family bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC.  The property also has a kitchen/diner completely equipped for your culinary needs whilst on holiday and a cosy lounge with a solid fuel stove. To the outside there is a private garden that is enclosed and off street parking. Ale Cottage is a lovely cottage in a fabulous part of the Lake District.

Electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Sky FreeSat, TV with Freeview, DVD player, home cinema system and CD player with I-Pod dock. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in the rent. Private rear garden with seating and BBQ. Private parking for 1 car. Towels included. Three well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 2 minute walk.

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: Situated just to the north of Skiddaw, Ireby is an excellent centre for touring and walking throughout the northern Lakes yet is relatively unspoilt and provides a haven from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of the Lake District. Ambleside and Windermere are however within easy reach. There are numerous walking opportunities from the door over the Caldbeck Fells and Skiddaw which leads you into Keswick (12 miles by road) where many amenities including Derwent Water, restaurants, pubs and shops await you.

Lovely little cottage

Perfect small cottage for a family looking to explore the English Lake District. Great little village location, good amount of space, and all the amenities you need.
