Quaver Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The lounge is very private and has french doors looking out over the rear garden area where you will have frequent visits from the local wildlife! There is a TV, DVD & stereo with DAB radio, CD player and Ipod docking station, very comfortable suite, fire with beech surround, oak dining table and four chairs. A garden table and some chairs are stored under the stairs.

The kitchen has fully fitted units, electric fan oven & gas hob, fridge /freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer.

Upstairs, the king-size room has a solid oak king-size bed, oak bed side tables and wardrobe. This room looks out directly over the River Greta and towards the fells.

The twin room has two solid oak single beds, built in wardrobe and oak drawers. Both bedrooms have co-ordinating bedding and curtains and will be dressed in luxury linen and towels.

The bathroom has a modern white suite. Bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and shaver point.

This quiet, comfortable cottage is only two minutes walk from the town centre yet backs onto the river Greta and overlooks fields towards Portinscale and the fells beyond. Quaver Cottage is in a very quiet location and is ideal for those wishing to get away from the noise of town whilst still being very close to the centre. Gas central heating and fully double glazed. *Complimentary WI-FI Provided* The cottage is suitable for one small dog

The apartment is conveniently situated a stones throw from Booth's supermarket (which has an electric car charging point) and the E-Venture shop for easy bike hire.

Another Great Stay

Just had another great stay at Quaver Cottage. Cannot fault it, there was even a welcome gift for the dog this time, which he much appreciated.

A brilliant holiday

We have stayed in Keswick many times and Quaver Cottage is our favourite by far. It ticks every box for a relaxing break and still be central. A lovely touch this year was a welcome gift for our dog, 100% recommended.

Quaver Cottage

This was our second year staying over the Xmas period at Quaver Cottage, which has a great location with parking and very close to town centre. The house is equipped with everything you need and comfortable. Could possibly do with lounge area brightening up and more powerful shower. Had issue with toilet cistern constantly refilling - noisey during nighttime affecting sleep.

A true home from home

Our 4th stay in Quaver Cottage and as brilliant as always. Very comfortable, well equipped and cleaned to a very high standard. The cottage is in an excellent location, very quiet yet a short walk to the town centre and all the amenities. The only downside was having to leave...

Excellent Location

Quaver cottage was in an excellent location for town centre, Keswick. Situated in a very quiet area. Just a very short walk to the shops, cafes, pubs etc. Also to visit so many places of outstanding beauty. The house has everything you need for a perfect holiday. The beds were so comfortable.

Seeing the New Year in

We've visited Keswick many times always staying in B&B's but this was our first time in a cottage. The B&B's have always served us well but this was definitely a better experience. The moment we walked in the cottage was warm, homely and well equipped. The Christmas tree and decorations we're an unexpected bonus along with the complimentary welcome gifts, even a Christmas card. The kitchen and lounge area were the biggest plus for us over a B&B and it was very nice having a proper bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with very minimal noise from outside. The dedicated parking space and WiFi were also much appreciated.

Cosy cottage great location

Great location close to the town centre, the supermarket and the bus station whilst being quiet and peaceful. As ever with Keswick Cottages managed properties the cottage is very well equipped, immaculately clean and with nice arrival packs that help to enhance the stay.

Lovely cottage in a great location

This was our second time staying at Quaver. Cottage is in a great location close to the Main Street but very quiet. Great having a dedicated parking space and cottage itself is clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Quaver Cottage Keswick

Excellent all round - can't fault it. I'd certainly stay there again. t Two minutes to supermarket/buses and town centre..... yet exceptionally quiet location. The owners use the property so it's like a home not a holiday let. Loved it.

A delightful and immaculately presented cottage in the centre of Keswick. Equipped with everything you might need for a stay in the heart of the Lake District. Close to all amenities yet tucked away in a quiet corner we thoroughly enjoyed our few days here.

Great cottage

Lovely cottage,close to the centre of town (5 minutes walk) but in a quiet and pleasant riverside location. Well equipped and comfortable it's got all your need for a holiday. Highly recommended.

Great place for a short break in Keswick

We selected Quaver cottage as it was in a good location for us, with great access for an event at the Pencil Factory Convention Site and the shops/cafes. Also it was quick and simple to tidy up when it can to leaving. The kitchen was well equipped and the oven and hob were quick to heat up and very effective. Keswick is a great place to stay with a good range of shops and eating places as well so many walks near by.

Fabulous cottage and location

We had a wonderful stay at Quaver Cottage, which is a fantastically comfortable home from home. The living room is very comfy, the kitchen is fabulously stocked with good quality utensils, the bathroom is spotless with an excellent shower and the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable. We slept marvellously well. Also, we thoroughly enjoyed filling the bird feeder in the tree with the seed in the container by the sink and watching the finches, sparrows and some very greedy pheasants; adorable. And Booths is on the doorstep; what more could you ask for? This was our second stay at Quaver Cottage and we will definitely be returning after another fantastically restful break. Thanks to the entire Keswick Cottages’ team.

Lovely house, great location

Quaver Cottage is a lovely comfortable house in great location close to the centre of Keswick. A great bonus is having a parking space. The weather at the beginning of our week was truly awful but we were snug and warm in Quaver Cottage. The end of the wek came good and we enjoyed some fantastic walks and scenery

Great cottage in perfect location

We had a super week in this well equipped and comfortable cottage sat in a quiet riverside location but only 5-10 minute walk from the town centre. Lots of walks can be accessed without the need to use the car. Car parking space a real bonus and Booths supermarket just at the end of the car park. We definitely recommend and would stay here again if we came back to Keswick.

Short winter break

Super cottage in a great location. The property had everything we needed and was perfectly located for access to Keswick and its beautiful walks. Myself my wife and Bailey the cavapoo will be back. Loved it.

Beautiful Cottage& Great Location

This was my first visit to Quaver Cottage and it won't be my last. The cottage is lovely and spotlessly clean, Everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is in a brilliant location, 5 mins walk to the main street but still very quiet. I have stayed in lots of self catering accommodation over the years and this has got to be one of the best. We were even lucky with the weather for this time of year. Will definately be back.

great location

Quaver Cottage is in a perfect location short walk to all the shops ,pubs and restaurants. but its still in a quiet area . The cottage has everything you need for your stay , its is clean and well maintained . it has its own parking space . I've stayed there twice and have booked already for next year .
