-Swords Castle which dates from the 1200’s has been lovingly restored and takes centre stage in this bustling town. The castle was used in recent times as a location for the TV series The Tudors in 2010.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Short-breaks bookings:
In peak season (1st of July – 26th of August) this holiday home only is open for short break bookings excluding Saturday/Sunday arrival.
4. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
5. Public Transport:
We do recommend that you have your own transport to explore Dublin city and the surrounding counties, as the closest bus stop is 3km away.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Heyward Mews. The apartment and outdoor areas were very clean and well maintained and it was very accessible for travel from the airport and local attractions. The host was incredibly friendly to our family and I have no issues recommending this spot to anyone in the area!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here! The property manager was hospitable and helpful, and he even gave excellent sightseeing suggestions. He made sure we had enough detergent and quickly answered any questions we had. The home was clean and spacious and met our needs very well. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Very nice place. The hosts were very friendly. Mark greeting us and gave us the information that we needed and he made sure the room was ready for us as early as possible since our flight was an overnight flight and got in at 4am. Thank you all for the hospitality.

I have read complaints of hot water being scarce. I did not find that to be the case. We had no problems with it. The neighborhood was very quiet. I would recommend the property.

Easy check in process. Manager Mark very amenable. Plenty of room for the family and good facilities. Good base to explore from but car required to get to nearby Swords and beyond.

Family summer break

Friendly service, great location
Heyward Mews was the perfect location for us, close to the airport and to family in Swords. The property is generously sized and the facilities are excellent. The property manager, Dora, was lovely and very helpful. Would recommend.

Property was exactly what we needed, close to family living in Swords, quiet, clean, comfortable and with plenty of space for our family. The property manager, Dora, was wonderful - great communication, friendly and very helpful. Would recommend if looking for a property in this area.
Family of 5 of us stayed here for a week. It’s a fair distance outside Dublin, but that was clear from the outset. Swords village is nice. Easy access to M1 & M50. House clean, modern and had everything necessary. Nice ‘gated community’ feel to the estate

Excellent Stay at Heyward Mews property near Swords, Ireland
We had an excellent stay at this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation townhouse. The unit is a two story unit with a combined kitchen/living area + 1 bedroom (1 single bed) + 1 bathroom on the main floor and then two bedrooms with ensuites on the second floor. Bedroom 1 has a double and bedroom 2 has 2 singles. I would suggest a double bed in the downstairs bedroom as an improvement. Overall the property was excellent for two couples. The property was clean and the manager (Mark) was very responsive to questions before and during the stay. He offered great advice about the area and was available if we had questions. The kitchen was well equipped, the living area spacey and the back deck nice during the warm spring days of Ireland. We really liked the area - close to Swords and Malahide by car and an easy train ride in from Malahide to downtown Dublin. Overall this accommodation exceeded our expectations and we are very happy to recommend. PS: Please don't mix this property up with another property at the same location managed by a different property management firm - this property was managed by Trident Holiday Homes. The other property with poor reviews was explained to us as having a private owner who did not treat his visitors well.,

We all really enjoyed our holiday at Heywards Mews, we especially liked the kitchen diner and three bathrooms. We liked using the swimming pool and gym at Roganstown Hotel opposite. All in all it's a great place to stay!

Si on a une voiture, c'est parfait comme endroit : très calme, proche des commerces (en voiture) et de Dublin. Proche aussi d'autres sites et de la mer.
Appartement très propre et très fonctionnel.
Nous avons malheureusement raté par notre faute le contact avec les gérants à notre arrivée mais tout s'est bien passé.
On a voulu un soir se servir du four et impossible de trouver comment le faire démarrer ; je n'avais pas idée que l'on pouvait déranger les gérants par téléphone le soir pour un renseignement comme celui-là, c'est bon à savoir !
