My girlfriend and I spent much time rocking on the back porch and listening to the river and birds! So relaxing and yet town was close by. Went to a blue grass concert which was a blast in Johnson City. Highly recommend!!!

Peaceful and beautiful property. We really enjoyed this getaway to such a relaxing spot. I appreciated the apparent recent upgrades of appliances throughout the home including the grill on deck.

It was a perfect get away. Linda was very hospitable and was immediately available for any questions or issues that could arise. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. You will NOT be disappointed. The view from the back porch was the high light of the property. Relaxing and quiet area.

We had a great time. The view was amazing, the house was comfortable, the neighbors were friendly, the location was close to all the fly fishing spots on our list, and there were plenty of bars and restaurants in town if that’s your thing. Fishing from the property was challenging because the water is deep and the current is strong but it was fun trying!

The stay at the Magic cabin was peaceful, relaxing, and just what was needed for our short but sweet stay. The home is wonderfully accommodated in all areas of the kitchen (great coffee bar), bath (plenty of towels), and bedrooms (extra blankets were needed for unanticipated cold weather). The home is in a great proximity to the tri city area of East Tennessee and the host's driving instructions were most helpful. The host is thoughtful in planning and communicating and understanding when we were later arriving, the outdoor lights were left on (THANK YOU!). We enjoyed much of our time on the back porch and the chairs on the stairs overlooking the river. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

This is the second time that I have rented this cabin and love staying here. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the back porch provides a beautiful view over the trophy section of the Watauga River. I will definitely be renting this property again.
