Totally refurbished to welcome you, its entire space was designed for your comfort and well-being. The modern and careful decoration is in tune with the historical streets that surround this city building. With a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and a generous open space, this apartment is perfect to discover the charms of Funchal.
The house is fully equipped and has all the amenities to make you feel at home.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
This house is located in a privileged central area, right in the heart of the city of Funchal. At 15 minutes walking distance from the Lavradores Market and the Old Town of Funchal, from here you can explore on foot the several touristic points of our beautiful city (e.g. Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Sé Catedral, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)

TRANSPORTATION
With a bus stop in the vicinity (five minutes away), transport will not be a problem for our guests.
For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about seven minutes from the house, although the best option to reach the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport!

OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability.
- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

First Madeira Visit

Great location in old part of Funchal. Many local places to eat from wine bars and pizzerias to quality local restaurants and a fabulous cafe and bakery.

Good accomodation in very good area!

I stayed in this flat vor 9 wonderfull days. The interior is good, the view as expected in downtown Funchal and it was most of the time quite. The flat is pefectly located near the main street of Downtown Funchal and the harbour.

Perfect in every way

Wonderful apartment - large, clean and very comfortable. Brilliant location, with shops, restaurants, cafes and public transport. The kitchen was amazing! The beds were very comfortable.The terrace is wonderful. Nice neighborhood.Staff were amazing and helpful.

Very good place

An excellent solution for staying in Funchal. The apartment is very nice and clean, conveniently located in the center of Funchal. A terrace complete the location. Very useful the laundry room. Only one night a problem with a beetle solved the day after.

Great local

The location was fantastic especially if you’re not renting a car. We loved the large deck it was nice to eat out. My only comment the pictures should be updated. The kitchen is not well equipped and somethings were a little tired.

Excellent apartment

Had an excellent week in the apartment. Perfect location, lovely apartment. Super fast transfer from the airport using the service in the app, just 45 mins from bag collect to reaching the apt. Too many excellent restaurants to mention and just round the corner from the Ritz, which is good for people watching. There was a lack of mugs for a cup of tea, but have bought a couple so these should be left in the room for the next visitors. We have passed on the details to friends if they want to visit.

Schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung zentral in Funchal

Super zentral gelegene Ferienwohnung in Funchal.In direkter Nachbarschaft viel Gastronomie, der Supermarkt ist 500 m entfernt.Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war vorbildlich und einfach.Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt war die Hellhörigkeit zur Oberwohnung und teilweise zum Hausflur. Mit Ohrenstöpseln konnte man aber schlafen.

Très bien situé, en plein coeur de Funchal mais dans une rue calme. Terrasse agréable, propre. Climatisation de la chambre bien agréable. Bémols : ascenseur en panne durant tout notre séjour ; bruit très fort d'aération d'un immeuble voisin, se déclenchant jour et nuit.

Very good location downtown in Funchal

We liked our apertment very much, but in february we could not use the terrace so much, because it is very little sun there. For the two of us it was spacious and practical. The cleaning once a week was perfect, and the serviceroom with washing machine and trumble and more was also very practical. Short way to supermarket and everything, and good restaurants in the neighbourhood made the location fantastic!

Excellente option en plein centre historique de Funchal

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’excellence de l’accueil et le confort du logement. Le logement se trouve en plein centre ville, à l’angle des rues Sao Francisco et Carreira en haut de la pizzeria Xaramba et à 5 mètres d’un excellent restaurant de cuisine locale Londres. L’appartement est situé au 3ème étage d’un immeuble de 4 étages avec un ascenseur qui possède une douzaine de logements meublés pour la location saisonnière. Il est composé d’un séjour-cuisine américaine ouvert sur une grande terrasse avec une table et 4 chaises, d’une chambre sur cour et d’une grande salle d’eau. La cuisine est complètement équipée, l’huile, le vinaigre, le sel et le thé sont mis à la disposition. Dans la chambre, une grande quantité de cintres vous permet d’installer l’ensemble de vos vêtements. Les serviettes de bain de dimensions généreuses sont fournies également. La situation géographique est très centrale dans un quartier touristique animé, plein de restaurants et à proximité de transports. Vous pouvez y arrivez par l’aerobus (prix de 5 euros), l’arrêt avenida do Mar, ou bien par le service de transfert privé (25 euros) ou divisé (8 euro) assuré par différentes compagnies. Pour ma part, j’ai bénéficié d’un excellent service de Madeiralimo. Je souhaitais souligner un grand professionnalisme de Travel to Madeira, l’excellence de leur accueil, leur réactivité et leur flexibilité. Si vous êtes très sensible au bruit, vous pourriez probablement être un peu gênés par les travaux dans la rue (plusieurs immeubles en état de rénovation). Toutefois, le double vitrage du salon diminue les nuisances éventuelles. Pour résumer, la qualité de l’accueil et de logement en font un choix d’excellence pour réussir votre séjour sur l’île du printemps éternel.

Fantastic stay!

Absolutely loved this little apartment. It was the perfect size for just the two of us and the porch was so perfect plus it had all the amenities you needed. The location is great it's a quick walk to the ocean but also in the center of town surrounded by many restaurants. The washer/dryer don't work too great and take 3+ hrs per machine but we didn't mind and only used them once. The building is very safe and they were great communicating with us when we arrived and had someone meet us at the apartment to show us everything and answer any questions. Overall the stay was fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys feeling like a local and plans on exploring every day.

Great spot at the center of Funchal

We enjoyed a whole week at this apartment, perfectly located to explore the city. Very nice reception by our host. Suggest to equip the balcony with a sunshade so it can be even better used during hot sunny days.
