GETTING AROUND
With bus stop practically at the doorstep, transport will be no problem for our guest. For departures and airport arrivals, the closest Aerobus stop is about 5 minute away.
Feel free to ask us a cab transfer marking with our local partners. Cheaper than taxis found at the airport!

- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All necessary linens and towels are provided. A cot, high chair and baby's tub can be arranged if necessary. We have a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and an anti-fire blanket on all properties.

Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

This is a really beautiful, large airy apartment. Balcony with sea view that gets the morning sun. The apartment is finished to a very high standard and is equipped with every amenity you could need. We were very impressed and had a lovely week. Looking forward to booking again. Highly recommended

Very comfortable apartment (clean, specious, well equipped). Good location - it was easy to get to Funchal city and near facilities (restaurants, shops, etc). The only inconvenience was the street noise, but it's a natural problem in such an area. Good contact with rental team.

Wonderful apartment

It was an excellent holiday in Madeira! The Rodamar I. apartment is perfect. Great location, gorgeus wiev, free parking in the garage. The apartment is extra large. Absolute worth it to stay there. The shopping mall is just opposite to the building where you can buy many things and foods, etc. And a bus station is just 30m. Abosolute recommend it! :)

Tökéletes hely rövidebb és hosszabb tartózkodásra. Kényelmes, tiszta, jól felszerelt apartman, 4 fő számára ideális (2 hálószoba, 2 fürdőszoba, nappali). Gyönyörű kilátás a teraszról az óceánra, minden pont olyan, mint a képeken. Az elhelyezkedés is tökéletes, a közelben bevásárlóközpont, éttermek, kávézók, az óceán pár perc séta. A szállásadó segítőkész, rugalmas, minden kérésünket teljesítette. Jó szívvel ajánlom mindenkinek. Perfect place for short and long stays. Comfortable, clean, well-equipped apartment, ideal for 4 people (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room). Beautiful view from the terrace to the ocean, everything is just like in the pictures. The location is also perfect, there is a shopping center, restaurants, cafes nearby, and the ocean is a few minutes' walk away. The host was helpful, flexible and fulfilled all our requests. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful

I'm really glad on my choice to stay here! The apartament is fantastic, well-equipped and near everything. There is a Shopping Centre opposite it, where you can buy whatever needed! Having your own parking place is important, knowing that won't be a problem is surely a plus! The building is recent, quiet and neighbours friendly. I 'll come back!

Zeer slechte verhouding prijs/kwaliteit, o.a. geen televisie en internet gedurend 2 dagen omdat het abonement niet betaald was. Dit zegt alles. Wij waren met z'n 4 en er waren 3 tuinstoelen waarvan de kussens helemaal kapot waren, daar kon je echt niet op zitten. Afijn, onze verblijf was verpest dus, hier nooit meer.

Very fine apartment , clean and large and fully kitchen. Great service from AIA ,helpfull and friendly. We will absolutely book again when returning to Madeira. We can just rekommend AIA . They really keep what they promise. We are very satisfied AGAIN!!

Lots of positives but in the end, the traffic noise and the ants really drove us up the wall.

We stayed here for 3 weeks. The location is the best in Funchal We had good correspondence with Island Apart. The airport transportation they arranged for us was very good. The apartment is big, and well laid out. The WiFi is good (not great). The kitchen is well equipped. Large refrigerator is a nice thing to have. The freezer section caused minor problems. The living room furniture is comfortable. There is a large table and four dining chairs (which could use some attention). Along with this are two casual chairs. There is a large (68 inch) Samsung TV that has many non-English channels as well as a few English-speaking news channels. We found that it is easy to plug our laptop in to it and watch channels that we can obtain. It also has a large coffee table. The deck off the living room is a nice size. It faces RUA PONTA DA CRUZ LOJA E. This is a busy, noisy street. So, spending time outside is a test of patience. There is a wooden table that desperately needs replacing, as well as four chairs. The sun umbrella is great in mornings when the sun really beats down on the deck. The view from the deck is nice. Looking to the left one sees Estrada Monumental (probably the busiest street in Funchal). Also, in this direction the Forum Mall. The ocean view is to the right and it is fairly nice. The main bathroom is large by any standards. Everything functions well. This is with the exception of the shower, or in reality, the hot water. It seems that you can get about 2 minutes of hot water then it goes cold (for about 1 minute). In a typical shower (curtain needs replacing), for me, I would run out of hat water about 3 times. Just a mention here that the linens in this flat are of very poor quality (or just worn out). Both bedrooms are a good size with lots of storage. The king-sized bed is very comfortable. If noise doesn’t bother you, this apartment would work well.

Direkt an der Straße

Diese Wohnung ist nicht zu empfehlen. Sie liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und ist entsprechend sehr laut. Auch nachts hört man ständig Lärm. Da hilft auch die an sich schöne Wohnung nichts. Wir sind nach einer Übernachtung umgezogen.

Well appointed and excellent value apartment, great base for exploring Madeira.

We chose Rodamar 1 as it offered Excellent value accommodation for ourselves and our daughter during our all too short week in Madeira. A few minutes west of Funchal town centre, it had safe and secure parking for our hire car and had amazing local amenities. The Forum Madeira shopping centre across the road had all we needed for self catering and a lovely little coffee bar where we enjoyed our first cupoccino with squirty cream on top and a Madeiran custard tart. A short walk from a swimming lido and with some lovely restaurants next door it is a great base to start our exploration of the town and countryside. The apartment facilities were all first class, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The balcony was perfect for breakfast in the sun with a good view of the blue Atlantic. Overall, loved the appartment, which was all we hoped it would be.

Lovely stop

The apartment is spacious and comfortable and well equipped. The balcony gives a good view of both the sea and the hubbub of the road below but is private and very secure. Everything was spotless. There is no aircon but fans are provided and these do a good job. Local buses to Funchal and Monte are reliable and quite frequent and there is a handy supermarket in the forum shopping centre opposite. If you're catching the airport bus get off at the forum. The only problem we had was that the message giving us details of what to do on arrival didn't get through so contact the agent in Madeira before you go. Our agent said this may have been because of booking through Booking.com. Overall a lovely stop.
