Yes they were welcoming very nice accommodation only let down was the mattress and pillows think they need updating or new ones door to bathroom was a bit odd didn't shut properly and could see in from the outside so no privacy area was very nice lovely pub and food served 5 min walk away not sure we would go back to this particular accommodation but would definitely visit the area again

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Overall enjoyed our stay, few little things we wasn’t to impressed with. Unfortunately the outside lights wasn’t working only one was working and the other one that worked was behind the chairs. Hot tub was brilliant and clean. Also we left the door open whilst we were in the hot tub and wasn’t to impressed to find out that one of the dogs had eaten a hot dog that we had cooked for our dinner. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and thank you for having us

So sorry about the hot dog , you should have said while you were here , then again I should have mentioned how you destroyed our mattress - oh well !
Spent a few days here after our wedding to relax and it was perfect. Lovely, spacious lodge, comfortable bed and a hot tub. Everything we could have wanted. Would definitely recommend.
Such a lovely location, the owners were lovely and welcoming. The property itself was very neat and lovely and clean, we had the best 4 days staying here. Would definitely recommend as a weekend getaway or quiet weekend away. Thank you to Lee and his family for letting us stay!
Beautiful property, amazing area and wonderful hosts
We have just spent a really relaxing week in the property. It's perfectly positioned for exploring the Dorset and Devon coastlines and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The lodge was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The outdoor space and hotub was perfect for the nice weather we had. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive and happy to help when needed. I would highly recommend staying and we'd love to come back again!
Wonderful lodge in a perfect location. Hot tub worked perfectly from arrival to leave time. Will definitely come again. Thanks Lee & family for making us feel at home.
Arriving at the property was easy, everything was as the site said it was. Brilliant rural location, lovely views from the property and hot tub. Had everything we needed. Lee was very quick at communicating from initial booking to checking out. Some great walks and lovely places to eat nearby.
Lovely little getaway with modern facilities and hot tub
Very lovely modern and clean place with the latest kitchen facilities and gadgets. It was spotless which is hard to find! Comfy sofa and bed, big TV with freeview, great shower, everything you need for an evening outdoors too. Very quiet area and friendly host who helped us settle in. The hot tub was great and ready to use. Had a colour changing light which was cool. Would definitely recommend as it's a quiet area but a good distance to many things around. Taunton, Lyme Regis, Seaton etc.
We had great time in the beautiful lodge. Lee was the perfect host any problem he sorted it straight away. Hot tub was lovely to sit and watch the sunset.
Friendly and helpful property manager and his family.
Peaceful location, with lovely surrounding walks. Local pub in walking distance, plus some a few minutes drive. Clean property, with excellent facilities.
Would diffinetly visit again
We have had the most amazing few days in the blackdown hills. The lodge is perfect for a family break, so relaxing. The kids are asking to come back next year as they have loved every minute of it. Such a lovely relaxing part of the country to spend a weekend making memories with the family 😊
