You will find a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful Algarve sunshine ,within easy walking distance to the golden beach, with it’s activities, the many restaurants, the fun cafes, the good shops and the lovely traditional Church..
This cottage is an appealing Luz property , recently renovated, with the air conditioned bedrooms downstairs with their own designer bath and shower rooms. Two double bedrooms open onto an intimate lower shady terrace, and then down to the picturesque little garden with outside shower. There is also a comfy twin bedded room.
Upstairs you will find an airy and amazingly spacious room with a stunning sea view. At one end the modern kitchen provides everything for your needs and has a stylish dining area also with air conditioning . The comfortable sitting area on the south side has a big dining terrace outside with a stunning view over the sea and down to the famous and beautiful “Rocha Negra”. From here you can enjoy the overwhelming sunrises and sunsets.

Wonderful Stay!

The villa has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. It is spacious, well equipped, and has beautiful views of the ocean. It is conveniently located, just minutes from the beach and promenade, and close to a very good grocery store. Luz is a lovely town and we enjoyed its friendly vibe and many good restaurants.

What a gorgeous, perfectly located, well appointed, sparkling clean, light-filled and spacious place. The outside places (terrace and balcony) are wonderful, too. The views from the balcony are sublime. The walk to the beach is short and lovely; in winds through Luz and its attractive houses and gardens. We needed help with the stove (unfamiliar with convection stovetop). Pablo came right over to rescue the birthday dinner! Much appreciated. We had a glorious stay. Obrigada!

Location could not have better. It was a short walk to beach, restaurants and markets. The patio was perfect for enjoying the early morning sunrise. Enough space for our grown family! Looking forward to coming back.

The property and location was fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay in Luz. It was walking distance to all the restaurants and the beach. The host however was not great. Not very responsive. We requested a high chair which was never brought to us. They skimped out on all the necessities (2 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towel, no shampoo or conditioner, limited hand soap and dishwasher soap). Lots of storage space to supple guests with more than enough supplies but instead we were cautious with how much we were using and had to go buy garbage bags.

We loved this apartment! The view from the terrace is beautiful and overlooking the beach. The location is very close to the beach, stores and restaurants. And, it is very quiet and peaceful. The manager was also very responsive and helpful. Loved it!

Family of 5 adults stayed here for 10 nights in July. Living area and kitchen were modern with every possible cooking utensil including BBQ utensils. Plenty of lovely serving dishes if you wanted to eat out on the large balcony. Bedrooms were airy crisp white linen on beds which were so comfortable. Only downside was there was no latches inside doors for them to close properly so had to move items in front of bedroom doors to stop them blowing open if we were changing. Close to the beach, restaurants and 2 supermarkets, and a 2 minute walk to cafe jasmine which was open from 0730 to midnight, nice and handy for a morning coffee or a late night tipple. Would not hesitate booking again. Property manager Rita was amazing with communication and her recommendations for places to visit.

Great place to stay

We stayed for ten days with 5 adults. The location is really good - enough space on two floors with a beautiful seaview from the veranda. Ist was very clean and we missed nothing. Luz is not as overcrowded as Lagos. It has an overwhelming sand beach and you could do trekking tours to the cliffs with really nice views. Or stay at the beach with lot‘s of activities.

Beautiful attached home in great location

We spent a month there an loved everything about it. The bedrooms were very comfortable and kitchen living area were better than our home. The view from the deck was spectacular. Rita was a great host. The location was a short walk to beach and several excellent restaurants. Luz is a hidden gem of a community. We’d love to return again.

Perfect stay

We came to Praia de Luz in early September. The house had everything we needed and the view is breathtaking!! Rita was answering very fast to our questions and it was close to the beach to walk by (4min). The weather at nights was a bit cold so maybe a couple of blankets to stay outside longer would have been a nice add but even without that i give this house a 10/10 !! Thanks again Rita for having us !

Couldn’t fault it

What a sweet, bright and comfortable little house. It was such a pleasurable and easy stay. They have thought of everything for your comfort. Great kitchen, living area. Balcony with sun beds in shade for people like me with a super view and sun beds in full sun for those who like to tan like my husband. Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and lovely light everywhere. It’s just above the. Each and close to supermarkets and great restaurants everywhere. We recommend d the Atlantic and Jacaranda highly. Our host Rita couldn’t have been more helpful. Hope to be back soon.

Perfect stay for 4 people

Our stay was very special, the location is easy to get to and you’re welcomed with a nice smile on check in. The bedrooms are perfect size for couples with plenty of storage. Upstairs is the open plan kitchen and living area with outside terrace. It’s just a lovely space with a great ocean view, we enjoyed several bbq whilst there, spa shop is walking distance and had good selection of meats. The beach was a short walk away with plenty of options for nice food at all times of the day. The area is pretty good to access the West (Sagres sunset is a must) and the Lagos, Alvor etc to the East. Overall our experience with Diana and Rita was first class and the property is fantastic! We’d love to come back one day.

A great base in Luz

The property was exactly as advertised and what we hoped for. The location in Luz was perfect. We both enjoyed Luz itself walking around this smaller town without any concern and also its location for drives to Albufeira, Lagos, Sagres etc. The property manager was great including be at "our place" a mere 15 minutes after I locked us out on the cooler / rainy first night. My ranking is 5 stars. As we stay there 6 nights, our only recommendations are the addition of a few little things such as hand soap, dishwasher and even fresh flowers in addition to the appreciated welcome package. Not a big deal as there is smaller grocery stores a few minutes' walk away and several large ones when we were out and about. The private driveway and parking right in front of the front door was great. Very good property which we would both recommend to our friends and not hesitate to enjoy again.

Luz townhouse

Luz is a cute town that’s easy to walk around. The house is very nice and spacious and was clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor and the living/kitchen/dining and terrace are on the second floor. You have a view of the ocean from the terrace which was much nicer than in the photos. It was a short walk to Praia de Luz which is beautiful and the restaurants on the promenade. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would have given 5 stars if hosts communication was more prompt and if more of the necessities were provided to cover our entire 8 day stay. We had to buy extra dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent and garbage bags. Why not charge a bit extra and provide what the guests need for their stay? Before arrival communication was good but after arrival, communication was slow or our questions were ignored. Note that all garbage and recycling must be removed and disposal bins are about a 5 minute walk from the house.
