Newly renovated cottage-like unit in small community with tennis court and pool, a short walk to the beach. Park- like grounds, gas grills and picnic tables. Living room with 60" TV and surround sound, kitchen with granite counter-tops and all new appliances. Screened in lanai. Sleeps 6. King size bed and flat screen TV in master bedroom , queen size bed in 2nd bedroom and twin beds in loft. This is a family friendly setting with minimal traffic and neighborhood- like atmosphere.

Fabulous Experience

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Joan’s place in Donax Village which is in a very quiet neighborhood. Donax village is a small collection of around 10 structures the most of which are side by side duplexes, surrounding a wonderful pool and a tennis/ Pickleball court. The grounds are lush and well maintained and you really get a sense of what Florida/Sanibel was like many years ago. The location is superb…a 5 minute walk to the beach and very walkable to a number of very good restaurants and shopping on Periwinkle. We rented bikes and biked all over the island. The vast majority of the island’s restaurants, shops and grocery stores are an easy bike away! The home itself is equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable beach vacation…plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and a beach wagon. Joan was very easy to work with, promptly responding to questions we had prior to check in. This place is a gem and we’re already looking forward to next year!

We throughly our trip to Sanibel and our stay at Joan’s property is the best.

The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking our meals but we also enjoyed eating at area restaurants. Grill was just outside our door . Plenty of towels and beach chairs are available. Donax Village is beautifully landscaped and a quiet neighborhood. We are looking forward to returning.

Simply Stated ... Five out of Five Stars

This property is outstanding. Fully upgraded and extremely comfortable. The four B's apply: bring a bike, a good book, a beach chair, and a bathing suit. Sanibel has miles of dedicated bike and hiking paths. In fact, the Dairy Queen is a short peddle down the road. The beaches are beautiful and perfect for finding shells of all types. The small community is perfect for quiet afternoons on the beautiful back porch reading a good book. And the delightful heated pool is just steps from the back porch. There is nothing that would make the property better. The owners are very courteous and attentive to all details. If you are looking for a very relaxing getaway to a truly beautiful location ... look no further. You have found it.

Wonderful updated Cottage /close to beach

This is a wonderful updated cottage in Donax Village. The kitchen is great with everything that you would need for your stay. The beds are comfortable and the baths are nicely updated and modern. The pool is close to the cottage and the grounds that are surrounding the cottage are well kept. The beach is a five minute walk. A place for a very relaxing stay. We met others who come back every year.
