A sensitively converted former cheese press, located in the village of Eckington
The accommodation has been fully modernised and finished to a very high standard with reclaimed wooden flooring throughout and underfloor heating. It still retains some of the original features such as exposed stonework and beams in the sitting room and on the first floor. The sitting room has an inviting wood burning stove, making it a warm and cosy place to relax in. French doors lead from the sitting room to a beautiful private garden where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the peaceful setting. Head up to the first floor to find the tastefully decorated bedroom with a super-king size bed which has the flexibility of converting to twin single beds if required, along with a beautiful free-standing bath tucked away in a romantic alcove with soft back-lighting, in addition to the modern en-suite shower room.
Eckington is the perfect base for exploring the unspoilt countryside of Worcestershire and the Cotswolds whether on foot or bicycle, and there are plenty of walks close by suitable for all levels of ability. A little further afield are the popular destinations of Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham, both under an hour’s drive away. As an added bonus during your stay at The Dairy, you can pre-order delicious meals from your host (see Notes for further information). Alternatively, if you prefer to eat out, take a five minute stroll into the village where there is the choice of two pubs along with a village shop, perfect for purchasing those essential items. Also very conveniently located for the Eckington Manor Cookery School.
