Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This attractive stone, holiday cottage, with a pretty, enclosed rear garden, lies in the heart of the peaceful village of Beadnell. With miles of beautiful sandy beach and sand dunes, all within an easy walking distance, this is an ideal family retreat. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a very good standard. This is a delightful base from which to explore the stunning heritage coast, Lindisfarne (Holy Island) with its castle and ruined priory is worth a visit but ensure you check the tide times as access is via a tidal causeway. Alnwick Castle and Gardens, which became Harry Potter’s Hogwarts in the epic tales, is just 13 miles. Shop 110 yards, pub 22 yards.

This is an excellent cottage, clean, tidy and practical with parking.

This is an excellent cottage, clean, tidy and practical with parking. Although close to a pub there was no noise or disturbance. The beautiful sandy beach is no more than a 10 minute flat walk away which is a section of the coastal path so you can walk on to other villages beyond. I would highly recommend it.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay than Embleton Cottage. The location is beautiful and Beadnell is perfectly situated for exploring up and down the North East Coast. The cottage itself is beautifully clean, comfortable and equipped with everything that you could want. It's a real home from home with a lovely walled garden to boot.
