Close to the seafront at Chiswell near the southern end of the famous Chesil Beach, this charming refurbished, 200 year old holiday cottage retains period features, offering stylish and comfortable accommodation. A nearby coastal path winds around Portland’s miles of remote Jurassic Coastline, ideal for sea fishing, and within easy reach is the Georgian seaside town of Weymouth, with its Blue Flag beach, Sea Life centre and RSPB nature reserve. Windsurfing, diving and yachting are popular in the area. Shops, pubs and restaurant within 300 yards.

Feels very homely and in a lovely location.

Feels very homely and in a lovely location. Off road parking is great as it’s very hard to find a spot that’s free and just a short walk to the famous chesil beach. A great, homely cottage just a quick stroll from the beach & local amenities - we had a smashing time relaxing indoors & have definitely honed our calf muscles with all the walking up & down steep hills around the cottage :-) The cottage was great value for money & we genuinely loved it, but did feel it could perhaps benefit from a little love & the investment in one or two new items of furniture (which could really elevate the feel & overall quality of the place). Would definitely stay again.

Pebbles cottage is lovely quaint and warm.

Pebbles cottage is lovely quaint and warm. It is very secure for your dog and is very well equipped. Unfortunately we left early as we wanted to walk on a beach with our dog and probably should have reviewed the area more before we booked as the beach is pebble and difficult to walk on. There are areas to visit fairly nearby but you’ll need to drive to them. There is a lovely cafe Quiddles by the beach which is dog friendly where the lady was very nice to our dog. Overall the cottage was lovely but the area didn’t meet our needs of not wanting to travel.
