A beautiful cottage to stay in.
A beautiful cottage to stay in. Very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. Close to all amenities in Wells. The owners really look after you with useful tips on walks in the area. Will hopefully book again in the future.

Wonderful cottage in perfect location.
Wonderful cottage in perfect location. Only moan was that there was no washing machine and it’s in the photos so was expecting one but found one at the coop so was sorted. Also the people staying in the cottage next door kept leaving their dog and it constantly barked. Very comfortable would recommend
Lovely property very centrally located in Wells just a short walk to the quayside. Had its own parking which was a real blessing, although it would be a bit tight with a big car. Easy to self cater, everything we needed was there.

Excellent location.
Excellent location. .. cosy cottage with everything you need. Parking a little tight if you have big car! We felt the floor could have been cleaned better but a call to the owner rectified this immediately with the cleaner returning . Perfect for 2 and plenty of room for 4

We found the cottage faultless warm, well appointed with what we needed, beds were comfortable and laundry linen was spotless.
Location just a stroll into Wells itself and harbour .... great walk to Holcomb beach to walk the dog. One small ? We thought the yard at the back was contained and just for us it it was separate and communal in the scheme of things it wasn’t an overall issue but just slightly misleading. Lovely break thank you.

Fab location, pretty cottage but needs updating
Lovely few days spent in this pretty cottage which is in a brilliant location, really close to the harbour and with its own parking space. The cottage is pretty and a good size but we agree with other reviews in that it does need some money spending on it. It was dusty, with cobwebs on a few walls, and the bathroom and kitchen could do with being replaced. I washed everything in the kitchen before using it - it definitely felt a bit dark and a little unclean. Overall though it was a pleasant stay. Slightly frustrating that you can’t get in until 4pm and the cleaner arrived by 9.50am which all felt a little pressured esp around two young children. Thankfully other reviews had warned of this so we were prepared and organised!

Perfect location in lovely part of Norfolk.
Perfect location in lovely part of Norfolk. The cottage is warm and well equipped. Gave it an 8 rather than a 10 as it needs a lick of paint and the garden area is separate to the main building. This makes it slightly awkward if staying with dogs. Other than that we had a great stay.

The cottage is warm and cosy and perfectly situated in Wells. We enjoyed our week and would return to Wherry Cottage (though much prefer Clipper Cottage next door where we are already booked for March 2020). There are a few issues which reduce its rating however. The lighting is poor. There are no reading lamps in the lounge area and no bright mirror light in the bathroom for shaving and make-up. We found congealed milk in the small jug on the tea tray. There is no large jug in the house and the kettle lid was broken (which we reported to the owners). The towels and bedding were very clean but lots of dust by sofa (we lost a pencil under there and it came out with lots of other detritus!). I bought a scourer as the mugs were quite stained inside. Quite a few of these issues have been mentioned by previous guests in the book.

Wherry cottage is quite small but adequate for the number of people it accommodates.
Wherry cottage is quite small but adequate for the number of people it accommodates. The floorboards in the double room are extremely noisy and need pinning, the double mattress is in serious need of replacing, very uncomfortable and dips. The low ceiling in the single bedroom where one single bed is under, is a bit of a hazard and you could really hurt yourself when turning over in the night. Other than those issues with the bedrooms, everything was great and we will be returning next year.

Absolute perfect position regarding the town centre.
Absolute perfect position regarding the town centre. Your own parking space in your own garage. Spacious, perfect for family with 2 children. It’s own little patio area. Very happy. 10 o’clock is a bit early in which to vacate and the cleaner is to the second! Also 4 o’clock check in is later than the usual 2 o’clock most other places are. But that’s all I can find to fault really although not really a fault! Definitely will be going back. Thanks to all involved in this wonderful holiday cottage.

Wherry Cottage Is in a very central location in Wells, although very close to a car park, which was not a problem in March, may be in high summer. Overall we loved the Cottage, it had all the amenities and was very warm, lots of towels and comfy beds. Only downside is it is in need of some updating, in the bathroom and kitchen. It also has private parking, very necessary in Wells.

Wherry Cottage was ideally positioned but I was very disappointed in the actual cottage it needs updating especially the kitchen which I found very dark and I felt it needed a good clean especially the floors and there was cobwebs everywhere.
I also felt the bedding needs to be updated as there was no pillow protectors and the duvet had no guts in it.

A lovely cottage in a very convenient location close to everything that Wells has to offer. it is a clean and comfortable cottage, with plenty of helpful documentation etc.
The only point worthy of consideration is that, as with any cottage of this type, there are sloping ceilings on the upper floor, these can be a hazard if care isn't taken.

Bit scruffy in places but everything works, nice and bright sitting room, great location. To contradict a previous review, I found the double bed fine (and I have an iffy back). I would however recommend that the next item of expenditure is a new sofa and cushions.

Brilliant location .
Brilliant location . very comfortable but needs a little love and attention. Would not stay in a cottage that allowed dogs again, lots of dog fur under radiators and a doggy smell on arrival. Had
most things we needed ie plates saucepans etc. Clean comfy beds. Nice little garden with furniture
and washing line. Covered parking space.
